I ordered these binoculars for my nephew to use during our hiking trip. The product arrived quickly and undamaged. They are lightweight and extremely clear. My nephew will be able to carry and use them with ease. I didn't want to buy him a child's version (he's too grown up for that) and I wanted him to be included in the viewing. (All the adults have binoculars). These are perfect and I'm very happy with the purchase.

First, these binoculars are very sturdy even when they are not in the carrying bag. I have not dropped them, but if I did, I think that they would hold up fairly well. As for how well, they work, the magnification is pretty good. The only problem that I had was sometimes it would appear that something was blocking the image. Maybe my eyes were pressed too close to the eye cups? Also, these binoculars did make me a little bit dizzy. I am prone to motion sickness, but still I have used some that do not give me that feeling. If you a prone to motion sickness from binoculars, these may not be the best for you. If not, you can not really go wrong, especially at this price!
