Fit System 1705 Clamp-on Mount Universal Mirror

Spent 3 times as much on a single peep mirror thinking I was ordering a pair.. bad product photo. Ordered this one just to have a pair until I ordered another $30 to match the 1st because this one qualified for Amazon Prime 2 day shipping allowing me to have a pair of mirrors by Friday. (The matching costly one would take 1 week)Of the 2 this one is overall a better design as well as having a superior build quality. I also like the diameter of this mirror itself it is a lil larger than the $30 dollar peep mirror but not huge at all and goes well on my '67... and does not seem like it will be pushed around by higher speed driving like the costly one does. looks like it could have been a factory option with the classic style of this peep mirror. In summary I like this less expensive, well built peep so much that I have decide to replace the brand new less than 1 week old more costly peep mirror with another one of these beauty's Actually glad I did not get a pair the 1st time, if I had I would never had ordered this awesome one

This was perfect for my old car that has a Tiny rearview mirror. Looks great and is solid.

It was nice to know these mirrors are still available, since I couldn't find any clamp-ons at local auto parts stores. And amazon's price is right! Just 3 comments: 1) Unlike an earlier review, you don't have to loosen screws to adjust the mirrors - don't tighten them all the way and you can adjust them any way you want. 2) It isn't really obvious that the screws to tighten the clamps (onto the car doors) are allen screws (not mentioned in the instructions), but an allen wrench is what you'll need. 3) I'd forgotten that, in older cars such as mine, it is not that easy to see behind you in the right-side mirror - the A-pillar blocks most of the mirror. It's certainly better than nothing, but not as good as a "modern" car right-side mirror. Perhaps you can somehow bend the right mirror downwards to see better, but then it would "look funny" on the car because the 2 mirrors wouldn't be parallel with each other.

I purchased this to mount on the front end loader support post of a compact tractor. The installation was easy with two set screws, but even with a secure location on solid metal, there was too much vibration in the head to be effective. I replaced this with a 6 inch convex stud mount mirror through Amazon which is a much better solution for my particular application.

Added this mirror to my antique car and it worked greeeat. It's so much better being able to see the rear of the car. It was easy to install, just a few minutes.

Good quality mirror that can be clamped on, but I removed the clamp-on base (one screw) and used the screw threw an existing hole on the winshield stanchion of my MG TD. Looks like it belongs there and gives good side view.

Great fit and easy install

Got it today. Shipping packages were in good shape however mounting screws are missing and has no mirror glass in it and they were not in the the shipping bag. The package had been opened. It looked like it had been returned and just shipped out to me. it is worthless. Just a peace of metal .
