The mortar (bowl shaped): outside body diameter 10cms, outside height 10cms, cavity depth 5.5cms, cavity diameter 8cms.The pestel: length 11cms, diameter on broader end 4cms.👍Original authentic green granite marble. The finishing of the product is excellent. The exterior as well as interior has been polished well thus exposing the natural pattern of the green marble. All the edges and grooves has been well polished such that there is no rough edges. Good craftsmanship. Heavy and effective. Careful! If it slips and fall on your toes you'll get injured. Extreamly durable, supposed to last lifetime unless lost not to mention a head turner for your kitchen. People will ask about it and appreciate it's quality.👎🏿The pestel and mortar have been carved out of two different blocks of granite as the mortar is dark green and pestel is pale green. It would have been better if both were similar in colour.👉🏼This is 4 inch model there is another 5 inch model which has larger cavity and a little less in weight (due to larger cavity).

Its a really good product although you need to be really careful while handling it. Delivery was at the expected day but the mortar had a crack in d bottom side with a tiny chunk missing. As its lockdown period and its way too tiring to exchange such a heavy thing, i dint return it. Also it still serves the purpose. Its a good buy, i totally recommend it but i suggest the shipping be done after checking for defects and in protective packaging

Very good quality. The bottom of the pestle (the hammering stone) is slighty rough (instead of smooth polish as in the other areas of the product), I guess they may have purposefully made it that way to help in grinding action. (Instead of pounding, if we decide to just do screwing action - clockwise & counterclockwise, so that it serves the purpose in some cases like Garlic, soaked badam, etc..).Best quantity product at best price. Happy customer.

This imam dasta is very heavy. I earlier used a steel imam dasta, but for simple grinding like elaichi long, it used to take a lot of time and used to sound a lot, but this imam dasta grinds easily, the trick is instead of knocking it over and over , just squeeze and move the danda
