I purchase 2 of the Simple Home Carlton home office desks. My wife and I use the desks for our desk top iMac computers. The desk is 31 inches high which suits me perfectly. The standard desk is 30 inches, but the 31 inches is just a little more comfortable with an adjustable desk chair. The 42 inches in width is good for putting other supplies on the desk top. The desk is good looking and is very good quality. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble. We put glass tops on the desks to protect the wood top.

I was looking for a small desk for a corner of my living room. This fit the bill perfectly. Sturdy, and made of solid wood, it looks much more expensive than the actual cost. Assembly was a breeze, only needed to attach the legs. It came well packaged with no damage. Highly recommend!

I needed a small desk for a small sound/music studio (space is at a premium). I wanted dark brown wood (my wife says "espresso") to match the flooring. I needed a keyboard drawer. After looking through all the options in-stores and online, I settled on this one and am very happy with the unit. As others have stated, the wood is high quality, construction is solid. There are no "ugly sides" and the assembled unit is very sturdy (except for perhaps, the keyboard drawer). I think it took all of 5 minutes to put the legs on and I didn't even need a screwdriver to put the knobs on the drawer. Piece of cake. I added some furniture pads to the feet and that was that. Pros: * Nice wood * Easy to build * Sturdy * Keyboard/mouse area is tall enough for ergonomic/split keyboard and mouse * No issues with legs hitting drawer (good height) Cons: * Keyboard drawer squeaks when extended and comes out on an angle * Keyboard drawer flexes when resting hands on drawer, may not last (we'll see) * Wood scuffs/scratches easily

Nice desk good for smaller areas but not really grey it has a slight greenish hue to it but a little off

I purchase these Writing Desk's for clients who are visually impaired, most of these type of desk's are fairly easy to assemble and are usually well put together. But this particular model made by this particular manufacturer is ridiculous, poorly put together why if I didn't know what I do about woodworking the 2nd one I bought would have been sent back. The fotos are on the 2nd unit I bought when I opened the box I couldn't believe how a company could allow this to be shipped. If I didn't need to deliver it in as soon as I did it absolutely would of been shipped back. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOUR A WOODWORKER WHO WANTS TO SPEND AN EXTRA HOUR REPAIRING A TABLE THAT JUST COST YOU OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS.

My use for it is very utilitarian but it is a very sturdy table in the exact dimensions I need and was easy to assemble. I will be adding a bit of decorative trim on the inside of the legs but even without that, it is good looking.

It took longer to get this out of the box then it did to assemble this desk. It has simple good looks and fits nicely in the corner of my living room.

I was very pleased with this desk. It was delivered on time, without a scratch. Assembly was quick as advertised. I just wanted a small desk with a keyboard tray for my bedroom. Price was right and the quality is very good. Was packaged very well so there was NO damage.
