Works great! Let me tell you, it has been a problem keeping our dogs off the sofa. We tried shock mats, but it takes three to cover everything because we have to cover the back of the sofa as well. They will just jump up there and lay if not covered. Ugh. Then I tried just plain ole mats that you put on carpet for office chairs to protect your carpet because it was low cost and I figured the spikes on the bottom would work, but they would pull them off.I was skeptical about trying this product because I thought they would probably just pull them off as well. I guess the crinkly noise it makes works and deters them! No dogs on the sofa while we are in bed or away from home! It worked! The cats not so much, as we all know cats love to lay on stuff, but nonetheless it works for the dogs which is who we want to keep off the sofa.

I was a little skeptical of these, only because my female dog will jump on anything! We had our couches professionally cleaned so we bough these to try. She tried to jump on them, but quickly jumped off and hasn’t tried again. So when we aren’t in the living room or home these go on the couches and they’ve kept both my dogs off!!

Better quality and more durable than the first one I purchased. Only negative is that it’s a bit noisy when our one cat that actually likes it jumps up there to take a bath. Luckily it works to keep our big dog off of the couch.

This product definitely keeps my cats off my bed. Would recommend, and would buy again.

I wanted a pain free and shock free way to train the kitties to stay off the tables. Someone suggested newspaper, that failed miserably as it became a new shreddable toy for them. I tried foil prior and that worked great! I wanted to see if they had something I could use for a bigger dinning table and move to furniture too. This checked all the boxes and seemed to resemble foil which I knew worked. As soon as it arrived, I opened the package and it seemed to be great quality. Crackled a little higher pitch than foil. I did not smell any manufacturing type scents as in some of the other reviews. I laid this out on my coffee table very excited and ran downstairs for a quick minute to change laundry loads. As soon as I came up (not 5 minutes later) both of the kitties were now laying on the mat.. as if it was a fun new blanket.. suffice it to say, this sadly did not work as I had hoped. I returned it and will just purchase more foil to do the job.

Having tried boxes on the leather sofa, I tired of that trick. Next the loud sound mat that she pulled of the sofa. FINALLY, this blanket works.!! I don't know about teaching her to stay off, but I can now leave the house and feel that the sofa will be safe from dog hair and toenail scratching. Now if I can remember to put it on when I leave for impromptu trips.
