When I first receive these clippers for my dog Coton De Tulear, this pet have lots of fur. I really like these clippers, it went through my pet fur like butter. If you a beginner like me. You would love these clippers. I decided to give my pet shorty a bath and clip his fur for him. I went the whole 9 for this pet because of his fur. I purchase a bathtub , dryer, shampooo, conditioner, scissors. brush and comb and a few tother things like a towel and toothbrush and toothpaste.. I can tell my pet was happy with the clippers. He knew the routine and he would actually help me to clip his fur. He would hold his leg up when I need to clipp around his leg and private area. Hold his head up for me to clip fur from his neck area. Dry him off with dryer. spray some dog cologne on him and he would actually model for me and my family.he would get our attention first all eyes on him and he would walk and make a turn. I guess he was happy to have that fur remove from his body, I use to otake him to a groomer. so I decided to save a little money to spend on shorty for his personal needs. After I was done giving Shorty a bath and dry him off. Ready for the clippers. Im very excited to do this part clip his fur. Well the clippers was very well maintain by using the oil that came with the clippers and I purchase some oil. The clippers would not makee a buzz when I tury turning it on. Im looking everywhere trying to figure out what happened Nobody uses it except for me. NOW WHAT, i can you help me figure out what is wrong with the clippers? This is the brand I bought .Clipper Kit, Purple (#41870-0423)IM HOPING TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON FOR A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM> I don't wnt to trash it but can it be fixed./ I really like the clippers.take Shroty to a groomer

Essential item for your furry pal
These Wahl pet clippers are amazing! I love the cordless feature—it makes grooming so much easier and more convenient. They’re powerful, quiet, and perfect for keeping my pup looking sharp at home! Perfect for travel and a must have for pet owners! I use these weekly on my Yorkies.

Cuts clean without having to go over the area a number of times.
It cuts clean and is easy to hold and maneuver. I can trim the face easily without having to go over the area multiple times to get a good clean look. Plenty of power

Love it. Worth every penny
Worth every penny. Cuts both of my dogs in half the time of cheap clippers. Make sure to clean it everytime. Be careful doing paws, blades are very sharp

Fine, Bit Pricey, Less Refined than Corded Models
Having used mid-range corded models for years, I wanted to give this a try with a new dog, because sometimes a dog is more distracted and afraid of the cord that's moving around them than they are of the actually tool. It vibrates more than my corded model and is louder too, both a bit of a surprise, but not a deal breaker by any means. Quality otherwise seems good. The stand is nice, but honestly, how many users are going to have this thing standing out in the open? The tiny bit of blade oil they provide was hidden in the accessory bag. I will follow up after more use. My initial opinion is it will work fine, but its a bit pricey for what it is.

Good so far
Great so far for small details and tidy trimming- only had for a couple weeks though. We will see if they hold up to professional usage

Conflicted.
I want to start off by saying I'm not a professional groomer. I'm just a dog mom trying to get by without a groomer due to closings because of COVID-19. I previously bought a $30 dog clipper set a few years ago and they were great in that they were lightweight, quiet, and smaller which made it easy to get into smaller spaces. What I didn't like was that they would get clogged with every stroke leaving me to freehand the cuts which turned out awful.Fast forward to the present, I bought these clippers because they have great reviews and were recommended by my dog's groomer. I figured it would be the best bet to get the same clippers her groomer uses to it would be less of a shock to my dog.I assume most pet parents are in the same position I am, trying to scramble to find the best clippers, because these were the only ones left of this model across the internet that I could find. I was wary to buy due to some reviewers stating that the products they received were used. Since I was desperate, I decided to take the chance and buy them knowing there was a possibility that I could be receiving a used or defective product.Sure enough, the product I received was in fact used. There was another animal's hair in the blades and there was no cleaning brush or blade oil included in the box.Is this a deal-breaker? I'm still not sure. It's disingenuous of a company to promote a product as new, with the price tag of a new product, then distribute used products with missing pieces.I have tried to find a way to contact the seller directly but have not found a way to do so, so I'm hoping this review will catch their attention so they can right their wrongs. In terms of the cutter itself, here are my pros and cons.Pros:- held charge through the entire grooming- easy to use- can be used plugged or unplugged- comes with a variety of guide combs (more on these in cons)- cut my dogs hair very effectively (I have a cockapoo/shih tzu mix)- metal plate/blades don't get hotCons:- vibration much stronger than the $30 clippers I have- much louder than expected- guide combs aren't great. They're fine just to get started but Wahl sells professional combs separately that are much better- would occasionally get clogged (but were easy/quick to unclog)4/18/20 Overall, I'm happy with the performance of these clippers and I'm glad I have them. It's just disappointing to purchase a product that's advertised as new and to pay for the price of a new product that turns out to be used with missing components. I will update my review if anything changes (i.e. change in performance of the clippers or if the seller reaches out and makes things right).Hope you found this helpful!
