Bought this huge 5ft board from hobby lobby. But I was never a fan of the white board section. Couldn’t find a chalk board that size to cover it. So I took on this project after chalk board paint failed us! It took a couple hours because wi am a perfectionist. And it turns out great! Very happy with my results for this!

I used this chalkboard paper on the side of my refrigerator. Measured first and easily cut paper using the grid lines (much like wrapping paper) very convenient! I started from the top, aligning the top corners to ensure a smooth application. You can use a credit card to smooth out any bubbles or creases as you slowly peel away downward. All in all, took me about 15 min from start to finish, and that was not rushing. Finished product looks great! No bubbles. Chalk was supplied , but I already had my own. Works great. Also improves the aesthetics of the fridge as I like the black against the stainless steel vs the rhino grey. Highly recommend product! Ordered another roll for other side of fridge. Oh by the way, this material is thin enough to allow for magnets to still stick on the fridge!

Don’t do it! I got this to turn my son’s double sided marker board into a chalkboard on one side and thought it would be a quick easy project. This paper is a waste of time and money! 1) the paper is impossible to work with. It rolls up on itself and will not lay flat. I precut what I needed and tried to flatten it with books but that did not help. The corners were rolling up on themselves and creasing. 2) the adhesive backing is impossible to get off! It came off in little shreds and I had to pick at it. I’m e attached a photo of the shards of backing left on the floor after installing 3) due to the above issues, it was impossible to get the air bubbles out even with one of those wall paper squeegee things. 4) without the above issues, the paper still had lines/folds every couple of inches from being rolled 5) doesn’t erase with a regular chalkboard eraser. You have to use a wet cloth and wait for it to dry every single time. Pro: The chalk does write/look nicely.

Pretty easy to use, overall good cheap alternative to a real black board. Doesn't seem to hurt the paint (had to lift up multiple times during adhesion to get out air bubbles) Adhesion seems similar to painters tape if that gives any perspective. The chalk it comes with though is trash though. Will be throwing it all out. I know its not the main item or why I bought this but it would have been nice if the chalk it came with was better quality. Crumbles in your hand, doesnt leave solid lines. I unfortunately left all my chalk in the office so now I need to make a trip to go pick it up. Other than the chalk its a fine product.

Love this!!! Its was difficult to apply in getting all the air bubbles out but once it was on it stuck very well to the wall. The chalk goes on good although it doesn't clean off the greatest. Overall did exactly what i wanted for my kids instead of painting a chalkboard wall with toxic paint.

We love this! You do have to use a damp cloth to clean it and it would probably work better with chalk markers vs the stick chalk. Still, we are very happy with our purchase. We put it on the back of a large floor cabinet in the kitchen. It is used several times a day for menus, to do lists, school work, and random artwork by the kids. Everyone who visits loves it too. If it ever does tear up we will buy it again!

I purchased this to cover a desk that I have that was all scratched up. The desk looks great with this on it. I am able to write on it if I need to. The adhesion is very good, and it was effortless to cut because the backing came with lines on it. I would definitely purchase this again.
