Good socks
They are for ladies or men. They wear well. There are several styles, I have been wearing them for years and am very pleased with the comfort and choice of thickness.

Poor quality.
Poor quality. I have purchased these socks in the past, they were always the best. The new socks are terrible. Cheaply made, won’t stay up. Never again. See photo comparing a 20 year old sock to the new ones. Half the size and thin. Size purchased is the same as the 20 year old sock.

I had my doubts when I saw the socks…
Years ago I used to buy gold toe 100% cotton socks was looking for the same again. These socks are not 100% cotton and look small and thin in comparison to those socks from the olden days. I was prepared not to like them. BUT, I am pleased to report, these socks actually DO wick moisture and keep one’s feet drier and cooler. The socks ARE thin, but in my case that actually be an advantage because my shoes are heavy and hot. And everyone knows, or should know, that cotton is difficult to produce these days, requiring much-needed water, and chemicals and fertilizers to keep the land productive. Organic cotton handles these issues, but it is expensive to produce and sometimes mixing cotton with other materials makes both financial and satisfaction sense. This is one of those cases.

Poor quality
Goldstone uses to be very good quality. Definitely not the same as they uses to be. They're thinner than usual and slide off off my heel when walking.

These gold toe socks are the only socks I own! They fit well and last long. They don't slip down my ankles yet are perfectly stretchy to get on and off. No color fading that I've noticed.

The product arrived on time and the fit is great. However, it doesn't do for me what I was hoping. While the socks are seamless the fabric is too relaxed and the sock sags down my leg and into my shoe

These socks are comfortable and did not shrink in the wash however, they were a little shorter than I wanted, but that may have been how I ordered them. I don’t remember now if I had a choice in the length.
