Absolutely love this!
Love this coffee! My stomach is not upset anymore when I drink coffee on an empty stomach. Really smooth flavor and taste. I can tell the difference in my gut health drinking this coffee vs the garbage and fungus in some of the other brands of coffee. Little pricy but not too badly. I can actually use a little less when making my coffee without compromising flavor. Yummy aroma when brewing will get your morning started!

Great smooth taste
I love this coffee. I was looking for a cleaner coffee after I learned how many chemicals are actually in the brand that I usually use. It tastes great and also seems less acidic and smooth then the well known brand that I normally use.

There is no butter in this
Now I don't know how long this company has been in business, but what I do know is that the term "bulletproof" has had a precise meaning in the coffee world for a very long time. It distinctly refers to coffee that is blended with butter instead of cream. I put off trying this for quite some time because I was unwilling to try any gimmick that tried to simulate a butter flavor or texture in a coffee bean. That's when I learned that this Bulletproof Coffee has no butter in it. Now, I love the message that Bulletproof is trying to spread about sustainability. It's a message that needs to get out more, but I fear that your average American isn't quite ready and willing to spend $15 on a 12 ounce bag of coffee beans (completely regarding the fact that they are probably spending ten times that by going to Starbucks every day). The reason I wanted to give this a try is because it as recommended to be my a fellow coffee snob. You see, freshness is priority number one when it comes to coffee, and I tend to shy away from mass produced beans simply because the freshness factor is hit-or-miss. Most of the beans in the grocery store are in this hit-or-miss category. Peet's is an example of a company that makes good coffee, but I've gotten stale stuff too often to make it a regular choice. As far as grocery store brands go, Illy is probably the best. While it is never "fresh", it does have consistency in that it is among some of the fresher alternatives. So I got my bag of Bulletproof Coffee, and the first thing I noticed is that it has an expiration date. That scores a quick point for me. I was also happy to see that the expiration date was a full six months in the future, which means that my coffee is likely only a couple of weeks old. While I prefer buying coffee that is roasted on the "day-of" (EDIT: My understanding is that your best coffee-house coffee is three days old before it is brewed, so my guess is that the coffee I generally buy is exactly three days old), this isn't a bad trade off when shopping on Amazon. It's typically what I expect when I buy Illy, so Bulletproof is in good company. How does it taste? Bulletproof suffers from the same problem as all mass produced coffee. It was almost, but not quite, fresh when I got it. It did, however, have a nice flavor that was like a conglomeration of several different single origin beans. From the perspective of mass produced coffee, I would rate this among some of the best I've tried. I'd give it a 4 out of 5. It's not as good as the stuff I get from my local roaster down the street, but you'd be hard pressed to find anything pre-packaged that is better. The truth, though, is that they need a different name.

Bulletproof coffee
So smooth and mild and the taste is like a smoked hazelnut even if it’s regular coffee.

Not consistent flavor.
I really like the smooth taste my first bag or 2 as time went on it got bitter. Not consistent in flavor. I wouldn't be buying again I think. I like my coffee light roast bo cream or sugar. Im really sad this bag is so bitter. I bought a couple more I hope they aren't the same

This was a huge disappointment all the way around, I percolate my coffee every morning and was looking forward to this brand but I ended up throwing it down the drain.
