This is superb. Admittedly I've not had it long, but it's sturdy and produces a very clear, sharp red light at some distance, and it's far better than other laser lights l've bought. My cat loves it! (It also has a small torchlight on it). The real joy is that it's rechargeable by a USB port so buying battreries is no longer necessary, something for which I am grateful.The device even has a little blue light on it that shows when it's being charged. Certainly well worth the money.

This is great, really good. I have a battery operated one like this and it was going through batteries like nobody's business, I decided to buy a cheap USB model and boy oh boy is this USB one better! Lasts much longer, more reliable and I guess ultimately better for the environment now I'm not using new batteries every couple of days. Look, I try not to preach and tell people what to do (we're all adults after all) but if you're browsing for a product of this kind PLEASE GET A USB ONE NOT A BATTERY-OPERATED ONE! You won't be sorry. Sorry not sorry for shouting ;-)

I was swayed by the reviews. I already had a laser that actually changes patterns but requires batteries so thought this would be better for the cat in the long run and for me and it is a bigger red dot but does nothing else except can be a torch. The one star is the charger provided, it does not go in fully so can not charge, the red light I assume that comes on is to show it is charging however it does not stay on and I have to keep hold of it whilst it charges....not convenient!

Works just fine, and it's great that it comes with a rechargeable USB lead. My only reservation is that it's quite light and flimsy, so I wonder how long it will last. It feels cheap but you get what you pay for. However, I bought a similar item for a friend, which felt a lot sturdier and better made, even though it was actually cheaper (no USB charger).

This is the best cat laser I’ve ever brought! It entertains my three older cats plus the two kittens, they all love it & never get fed up of playing with it it gives me great fun watching them also!! It’s great for night time getting them running round yard & ready to go straight to sleep soon after! Brought two & gave one to my kittens who went to new loving home & I will definitely be getting my self another just to have standby! Love the way you can charge it up saves a huge amount on battery’s thank you

The "UV" function is not really UV, just purple. It does not work for identifying bank notes.The red laser and the torch work brilliantly, though. I do not know how they did it but the torch has a well defined, sharp circle and does not scatter light around. It may be useful in some situations and a drawback in others.I have charged it only once, when it arrived (about 5 weeks ago). Admittedly I did not use it that much, only about 2 or 3 times, but it looks like the battery holds charge well.Overall, I can recommend it, unless the UV function is crucial for you.

Perfect. The dot function is favourite. Theres a mysterons function (white circle) which is cool too. Then theres a blue blacklight function which left the cat and me perplexed. But the dot setting was very very cool and the fact you can recharge it is going to be amazing, when i eventually have to (4 weeks in & i havent had to yet x)

Great little torch/laser pen. My dog loves it and now knows the words "laser pen"! Ideal for dark evening walks where it is too dark to play ball, with the added bonus of a powerful little torch for dark areas and seeing to scoop the poop. Great that they are rechargeable saving money on batteries. Glad I bought two...always have one in a pocket ready to go. Bought cheap versions before which have not lasted, definitely recommend this torch.
