This filter is to remove small sand particles which are entering from over head tank. By installing this filter, one can safeguard his bathroom fittings, gas geyser, water purifier, washing machine etc. If you wish that this filter should filter water in such way way that outcoming water can be used for drinking/cooking, then this product is not designed for that.

Good onecheap

This is an excellent product, its more than 3 months that I am using it now and found perfect for the requirement to stop particles in water coming from tank. I doesn't filter mud so anyone whose requirement is to filter mud then this is not the right choice.

Filter is very thin and cleaning done by removing whole strainer. There is no use of outgoing filtration cap.
