The spices must flow and flow and flow and flow...
Someone left me unsupervised in the bulk spice department and I wound up with a pile of extra spices that had no home. I thought it would be nice to have identical spice jars instead of just scrounging whatever I had on hand. Fancy, I know! My grandmother would be disappointed in me, what with all those perfectly good jelly jars and pill bottles sitting unused in the recycling bin. Sorry grandma, your kitchen was much larger than mine and I just do not have the space to store odd-sized margarine tubs and mason jars you acquired before the Carter administration. I knew didn't want glass jars because I will drop them a lot and I needed jars with at least 7oz of volume. I also wanted an easy screw-top lid that I could scoop or pour out of. After searching around, I decided on these. They have a generous 9oz of volume, so I can fit over a cup of spices in each one. This is excellent for when I make large batches of something that calls for an absurd amount of cinnamon. These jars also have the double-sided flip tops, one side for shaking and one for level scoops. The lids are also easy to take on and off. That part is pretty great. Unfortunately, the lids are not water-tight, which I discovered while I was washing them. This is a little disappointing, but I can always stick an oxygen-absorbing doohickey in anything I might use less frequently. The jars do come with a cardboard-type seal that covers the opening. I'm sure this is more for people who mix their own spices to sell or give away, as it's not a true seal and you have to remove it to use the shaker and scoop part of the lid. I also discovered the lids actually perfectly fit my old spice jars and the old lids fit these jars. Not that it's really a big deal, but that's good if I lose a lid or accidentally put the jar in the dishwasher. Speaking of, while the lids are dishwasher safe, the jars themselves are not. This is mostly because they will warp in the heat. My old plastic spice jars are the same way, where I can throw the lids in the top rack or flatware basket, but the jars had to be hand-washed. It is a pain in the butt to have to hand wash all the jars, especially waiting for them to dry, but I set up a folding table and let them dry overnight and all was fine. I made my own labels using some Avery clear matte address labels I had on hand, which worked really nicely. My spice jars look like they're more professional, which probably would come across better if I wasn't using some old Sodastream CO2 boxes as a substitute for shelf risers. Now, I started by just wanting enough bottles for the spices that were jar-less, but it turned out 16 bottles was not enough. Don't get me wrong, 16 bottles is perfect for the starter herb and spice cabinet and in a former life, that would have been sufficient. These days, I live in my kitchen, so I have a boatload of jars. Still, I was pretty sure that one package was enough for taking care of the un-homed spices. What I didn't count on was my sudden need to replace all the jars in my cabinet. See, my older matching jars were round with white lids and these are square with black lids. I know, it's a flimsy rationale, but I thought it would be nice to have a spice cabinet look more professional than a chaotic assemblage of containers collected from multiple epochs. That's how I ended up buying two more sets. Then another set. Now here I am, poised to buy my fifth set of jars because I swear THIS TIME is the last batch of bottles I need. I mean, aside from needing just four more and that shopping list of spices I don't yet have, of course. I can stop the spice buying any time I want, I swear. I just don't want to. Thank goodness for these bottles. They get the job done quite nicely.

Perfect-Size Spice Jars with Great Quality
This Bekith 16 Pack Spice Jars are exactly what I needed for organizing my spices. The 9 oz size is perfect—not too small and not too big—just right for holding a good amount without taking up too much space. The jars feel sturdy, the lids close tightly. They’re also easy to clean and clear enough to quickly see what’s inside. Overall, a great value and a simple way to tidy up any spice cabinet.

Great jars for spices
These worked perfectly for my homemade spice mix for gifts. I love the seal that comes inside so that you don't spill if the top comes open. They look nice and work well for attaching a label to the side.

Great product! super durable, great quality. I have a printing and design business so it waz super easy to make my own labels. If you are looking to make your own as well. The measurements are 3.5 h x 1.5 w. Happy organizing!

Good quality and a fair price.
I like these a lot. They are a good size containing a decent amount in an easy to handle size. The tops fit well and seem to seal well also. My only beef is that they have very large dispensing holes making them a bit difficult to use with some staples or seasonings with small granular particles like garlic salt.

These spice bottles are perfect for the job!!
I looked at every spice bottle on Amazon (comparing size, price, etc), and settled on these. I love ‘em! I bought two boxes (32 total) to handle my multitude of spices. Before I got them, it was a disorganized mess (I kept the spices in the bags I bought them in, stacked on a shelf)..."Before" and "After" pictures. And the store bags don’t stay zipped/closed, and sometimes spill everywhere when you pick them up (the shelf had loose spices all over it from spilling out of those bags). And with the bags, it was hard to see what you’ve got, where to find the one you want, or which ones you’re getting low on without juggling the bags around. These bottles solved all that. I just used a marker to label them (but a person can use professional-looking labels, if they want it to look neater). And if you drop these, they’re plastic! (I suppose glass bottles are “OK,” but it only takes dropping it once and hitting “just right,” and ka-pow, you’ve got a mess to clean up and the spice is lost). And the bottle tops have the small and larger openings (if a person uses those). I myself just unscrew the lid, because then I can leave the foil liner inside the cap. I suppose it helps to keep the spices fresher for a longer time. I am also “space-challenged” in the kitchen area, so they take up the right amount of space on a top shelf (see picture). The size of the bottles is perfect---not too small and not too large.

I’m really not sure why there are some negative comments about these containers. Especially re the size! Mine arrived yesterday so I have only taken one out of the pack to inspect. I measured the volume and as stated, is (a little over) 250ml. The plastic is strong and the tops fit perfectly, with the convenience of the 2 different top openings. They seem good and strong and of course in my view, better than glass. I suggest, if you don’t know what 250ml looks like, get a measure and fill with water to get an idea! I’m just about to give them a wash and dry well, then get my herbs and spices transferred. I recommend these containers.
