This is a great book. Well written by an author who cares about his profession very seriously. This book has answered so many questions that Ive had about earthen materials for building. I owe it to this James Henderson for giving me the answers in this book. I have big plans underway that utilize methods explained in this book, and I am anxious to see how they perform through the years. Great book!

Excellent book for the do it yourselfer for earthen houses. The recipes and tested techniques will save a lot of time in your construction project. The author's descriptions are delivered with hands-on knowledge. Photos and drawings add to the helps in the manual.

Need a place to build on.

This is a great book - especially since it's Australian which is an added bonus.
