Not able to recommend
Paint peeling off all over after about a month outdoors. Missed return window by 1 day. I thought for the price it would hold up. I was wrong. Trash.Contacted seller no response.

too heavy for pedestal
The sundials are gorgeous, now if we can get from them a stand that doesn't weigh less than 1/3 the weight if the dial we'd be happy. I can't pay upwards of $200 for a pedestal. They make a couple cheap ones so I tried them, too light to withstand a wind, being top heavy with this heavy weight sundial on top. The dial are made to be screwed onto the Rome bases. sothey need to figure that out.Or am I missing something? Is the base supposed to weight so much less than the dial on top?

Beautiful sundial
I gave it to my sister and her husband for an anniversary gift. It's really nice. I'm curious to see how it's going to hold up in the weather. Only time will tell.
