Great Product
Searched for a detergent that cleaned my gym clothes without leaving a dingy smell. Have used the powder for about a month. Works as advertised. Cleans sweaty work out clothes very well leaving a fresh scent. I have already told friends about it.

This really works!
I have ordered a 2nd bag of this detergent. It takes the smell right out of musty clothes. Those sweaty athletic clothing sitting for a day or so in the basket also come out with a clean scent. The clothes do get clean from using this soap! It’s part of my laundry routine. It’s easy, I add a scoop (which comes with the bag) to a smaller amount of regular detergent. Love it and it’s a family owned business! So that’s another bonus!

Active Wear Laundry Detergent & Soak
The Active Wear Laundry Detergent & Soak is an effective option for anyone looking to have their clothes smell fresh and feel clean again. It tackles odors and that stubborn “funk” better than most standard detergents.

Not a cure but the best product so far
Waited over a year to post this so I could judge long term product usage. The challenge: sport garments such as polyester blend jogging pants, shirts, fleece vests and jackets, would have a permanent sweat-stank smell. I tried hot water, cold water, different detergents, different washing machines, even soaked garments in a solution of Odoban for 36 hours (a cleaning, anti-bacterial liquid) all to no avail. The garments would smell fine after washing (using Tide, All and other detergents) but 15-30 minutes after putting them on, the sweat smell would return - it was like the garment had been worn for 8 hours at the gym. It seems that the warmth of the body activated the smell to come out of the fabric. I used the Active Wear detergent and kept track of the # of washings. After just 2, I noticed that, for example, a sleeve would smell ok after an hour or two but maybe the chest area or the other sleeve would smell bad. Eventually, after repeated washings, the garments improved and became wearable again. So this was fantastic - I thought I would need to throw away a bunch of clothes, but I now had a solution. Long term: some garments are stubborn - I may get a normal full day of wear without any smell but other times, the smell will return after wearing for an hour (I'm not talking about wearing them while running in mid July - just wearing the garment in the house). Also, if a garment happened to be washed in regular detergent, by mistake or if we were staying in someone's home and used their laundry supplies, that darn smell would return after that one washing and wearing it for under an hour. So, that's why I headlined this as "Not a cure but the best product so far". I typically use a little more than one scoop of Activewear powder, tossed directly into the washer drum, cold water, and less than a full load garments.

Clean, no stains or smell
This laundry detergent works to not only get stink out of clothes but also removes stains. It works way better than other natural detergents I use. I have sensitive skin and I don’t breakout using this. I have dogs and use this to wash their bedding and it’s amazing how 2 scopes and BAM! Clean, no smell clothes and bedding. We hunt and it also removes the animal blood with no stain.

Amazing! Buy it!
I had tried using other detergents and none of them could get the stinky sweat smell out of gym clothes. I tried this detergent as a last resort. I followed the directions on the bag by pre-soaking and let me tell you, what came out of my clothes was disgusting! The water was a putrid brown/green, no wonder they stunk! Since then, I've started by doing a light soak then throwing them in the washer. This detergent brought year+ old leggings and sports bras back to life. There is NO bad smell, in fact there's no scent at all. I am amazed and highly recommend this product.

I have been using this for the last 8 months. It works ok on my polyester work out clothes. Where I really think this works great is on my bathroom towels and cotten t-shirts. I just put a scoop in the bottom of the washer drum and put the items in. I don’t use any laundry detergent. The towels come out smelling fresh. Same with the t-shirts. Usually with the t-shirts you could smell underarm body odour after wearing them for a few hours. With this stuff, no more body odour. I know they advertise this for polyester clothing, but I have had great results with cotton clothing.
