I really like this bag. I use it mostly over the shoulder but when it is heavy I like to use it as a backpack. It has so many wonderful compartments and the fabric/material feels very sturdy. I like the zippers and the zipper pulls. They feel nice, work well and feel sturdy.The clips to hold the bag also feels really sturdy and smooth. The operation of the bag is really smooth and the look of this bag is really pleasing.I love that it stands up well when in it's "briefcase" mode rather than flopping over constantly.I'm really happy with this bag, how much it holds, how sturdy it feels and how it looks. I'll update if anything happens but I really like it.

Okay, I love this bag. I hardly know where to begin. On the back, on the side, on the outside of the bag, there is a pocket that is designed to hold one of the handles, but it is big enough to fit much more, with a snap that closes the pocket nicely. The pocket is 8 inches wide and is as deep as the full length of the bag. On the top of the outside of the back of the bag there is another pocket, this time it is zippered. It is designed to conceal the adjustable back pack straps (that unclip from the bottom of the bag) attached to the back of the bag. This pocket is 10 inches wide and runs as deep as the length of the entire bag, again, it can store much more than just the straps it was designed to hold. Moving on the sides of the bag, there are four adjustable straps, they tighten nicely, they are secure enough in my opinion that I would add a small accessory bag if I felt it necessary without worry. They have a nice, thick feel, and are tightly stitched to the bag. In the front of the bag, there is another pocket, exactly like the pocket in the back, designed to conceal one of the handles. Like the back, it is big enough to fit much more than the handle and has a snap to close the pocket. There are also two zippered pockets directly below the fore-mentioned pocket. They are 6 inches long and around 4 1/2 inches deep. On top of these two pockets are a pair of double pockets that are zippered at the top and on the left side. Both are approximately 6 inch wide and 6 inches in length. Both side pockets are approximately 3 inches in length and 4 inches in width. All of these pockets are tightly stitched and solidly constructed. Moving on to the two inside pockets, enclosed in the first inside pocket is a long strap for shoulder carry. It is nicely constructed and feels solid. Also inside this first inside pocket are two smaller open pockets that would hold an iPod nicely. There are those in other reviews that have stated that these two inside pockets would not fit a 15 inch laptop, but they're wrong. My 15.6 inch MacBook Pro fits very nicely into both of these inside pockets, without stretching the bag or stressing the zippers. Inside the second inside pocket is a secondary pocket that runs the length and width of the bag itself. This pocket easily held my 15.6 inch Macbook Pro, my 12.9 inch iPad Pro and my Kindle without stretching the bag or stressing the zippers. In conclusion, I love, love, love the versatility of this bag and would recommend this to anyone wanting a solid laptop or iPad bag. I will be using this as my primary bag. It was a great buy for the price.

This bag is everything I wanted. A year or two ago, I had purchased a messenger bag. I thought it was going to be amazing... but it wasn't. It was the same price as this bag but was made of leather, had short pockets and a flimsy strap that cut into my shoulder.I purchased this convertible bag after reading some of the reviews here and finally deciding it was worth the risk of being disappointed by a bag... but I was not! This bag easily converts between its many forms, the handles and straps effortlessly hiding away behind sleep magnetic clasps. The color is exactly as pictured and the fabric feels very sturdy while still supple. The shoulder strap has no pad, and yet, it is very comfortable. The numerous pockets are full, deep, and closed with heavy all-metal zippers that seem that they will never break or come undone. The bag is roomy and the padded laptop section seems like it would easily fit a laptop much larger than my Surface Pro.My one and only complaint is that there is not a longer strip of loops for the strap on the laptop section to velcro onto, as with my smaller laptop it is quite loose. This, as you can see, is a minor complaint.If you are looking for a messenger bag that can become a handbag for lighter loads and a backpack for heavier ones, that can look good on you whether you're biking or skating or in your evening best, get this bag. It won't disappoint.

I should have read the measurements more carefully. It is not as large as I had hoped. My 15 in laptop will not fit in the padded laptop pocket. That pocket won't even hold a standard three-ring binder and be able to zip, because it is several inches shallower than the rest of the bag. But it looks great, and I love that I can use it as a shoulder bag, handbag, or backpack at a moment's notice. It has a variety of pockets to stuff full of whatever you can imagine. There are not pen pockets, in case you were hoping there might be some inside one of the main pockets, but all the external pockets have zippers, so you don't have to worry about something coming open while it's in backpack mode and dumping your junk all over the place. Other than it being a bit small, I'm very happy with it and have gotten several requests to know where I got it.

I treated myself to Enchroma colorblind-correcting glasses and they're wonderful. But, they are a prescription and I would need to wear them all the time. This is a problem because they're basically colored sunglasses and indoors, it's usually too dark to wear them. So, faced with the dilemma of always needing my regular glasses on hand, I elected to get a bag.I didn't want a backpack or a purse and I didn't want anything leather. I wanted pockets and why not have something big enough for my iPad and laptop? This fits those without issue. I have dedicated pockets for earbuds and charge cables, I have batteries on my person at all times, I have gum, I have pens, I have business cards and of course, my glasses. It's durable, stylish, very functional.To paraphrase Friends, now "Nathan comes with a bag!"
