Horrible Book
The grammatical issues and inconsistencies were awful. It talked about how Silkies are flightless birds and then talked about how to handle the roost if you choose to clip their wings making them flightless. It called them Reds in one section. I honestly found more information on Google.

I have silkies, not chickens!!
Wanted a book about silkies, not about chickens and the existence of chickens. Thought this was going to be more silkie oriented. Not overall chicken oriented. Although this information may be good for first time chicken owners, it just didn't seem to be just about silkies which is what I wanted.

The book was not specific to silkies. Could have been written about chickens in general. Text had typos and errors.
