fun, good looking, and removable
This is a fun way to spice up a boring fretboard that is non permanent and stays put. I've applied these to a couple cheap epiphones and a Gibson SG jr. Take your time and leave the two E strings on as a centering guide. They don't peel or move while playing but come off cleanly when you want to remove them.

Look real to me
A few weeks ago I bought the WP (white pearl) stickers which I really liked although I even said in my review that they have a slightly gray or silver cast to them. I just got another set, this time the AWP (aged white pearl) set and I'm glad I did. Tbhey do NOT look like stickers and you really can't tell unless you get your nose right on them. These actually look like aged pearl. They look freakin real. Check the image, it shows the WP set on the left and the AWP on the right. The pics aren't too good but good enough that you can see the difference..The first set (WP) was impressive as to the fit, sizing etc. but for realism you can't beat the new set (AWP) at least not at this price.

Nice Concept - But Face It: They're Stickers and Look So
I put these on one of my guitars. Easy to apply. Easy to remove. But they looked exactly like what they are: stickers. The ones I had reflected light like a street sign. Not recommended unless you're 14-years-old and don't know any better.

Quality stickers! Needs better shipping protection. AWP means Aged White Pearl.
Looks great and seems to be very secure! My les paul studio had dot inlays so I had to use the long 12th fret marker which came with the set, but that wasn't explained well enough in the instructions insert and if I didn't already know I needed a wider version for that 12th fret, I may have put on the wrong one. If I had to do it again, I would have measured and marked where the inlay should go so it would have been one application and perfectly even. So I suggested to REALLY TAKE YOUR TIME! It was easy to apply, but I still had to take one or two off and reapply because it was applied crooked. You can feel the ends of the sticker on the fretboard but if you’re actually playing it won’t hinder you at all. The set comes with all the inlays on one sheet and the optional, wider 12th fret marker by itself as well as an insert that has instructions printed on it all inside a flimsy plastic sleeve. One shipping flaw I noticed is that my set was bent when it arrived, probably because of a lazy employee who put bigger objects on top of it. It was still usable, but it could have been damaged if something with a hard edge was in the same box. So they should ship these in a hard cardboard sleeve or envelope so it’s stiff and it won’t bend. Overall its great quality and a well-done product.

Functional, but not pretty
I got these to cover up the abalone inlays on an agile guitar (blasphemy to some, I know, but I just think they were so ugly) and after a couple months I’m sad to admit I’m not super impressed with the results. They fit well on top of the existing inlays and are very thin so they do not get in the way of your playing whatsoever. That said, they have a very dull, cheap look and an almost green coloration to them that’s far from the warm amber color of actual vintage hex inlays. If it seems like everyone’s review of these stickers is “well it’s better than nothing I guess” it’s for a reason, for ~$10 you definitely get what you pay for. There are a little more expensive faux MOP options on eBay that supposedly have more sparkle to them, I’ll be checking those out next.

Definitely worth the investment
I bought these for my Epiphone SG Special and they look amazing! From far away or close up you can't tell they're not real. I even messed up the alignment with one of them and it still looks great. My only complaint would be that they have a glossy finish, so in the wrong light they look fake. Other than that I am completely satisfied.Update:After not much playing, I found that the glossy finish is actually just a film that peels off after wearing it down (as other reviewers noted). It has now been about 9 months and I have only had to replace one of the inlays (if you only have 21 frets on your guitar you will have extras). The rest are still firmly attached, and I do some serious bending and vibrato with the 8 gauge strings I put on it. These things can take a beating, just make sure you follow the instructions. You can't push down too hard or for too long when applying. As of my writing this update, the color on the frets I play most on is faded, as other reviewers have mentioned. This doesn't really affect the look negatively to me, and no one would notice on stage. So after almost a year with these inlays I am still completely satisfied.
