You have to get used to it. It's not that easy.
It wasn't anything near the very old diamond one I've lent from a friend. That one was perfect. This one is not.

Absolutely my favorite glass cutter of 6 different types. Comfortable when applying pressure.The cutting head is not replaceable, but if it were, the price of a replacement head is $28.
