Used to form individual pockets for tools and bits in a larger storage box, keeping them separated and secure. Easily cut to fit, if a little too cellular to be completely neat. Helping to keep sharpened edges true for longer. Would buy again if needed.

Brilliant foam to use, the layers make it super easy to quickly tear out and achieve a flat surface. Really easy to cut and with it being some what firm it doesn't fall apart. My only advice is to ensure you have a handful of sharp scalpel blades to hand as you would be surprised at how fast they go blunt.

The size for the price is fantastic-I have enough for 5 trays with a bit left over. The other sizes all seemed to be around 400mm width but the extra size worked out with less wastage. I used a router bit in a dremel and cut easy-the one thing I did not like the surface was a quite rough. For the pro probably no-DIYer yes.

Used this product to make a case for my wood carving kit.It was very easy to cut however it was quite difficult to separate the layers.I had to re do one side as the sheet had a large hard bubble in it.Overall very pleased.

If you're cutting outlines of straight-sided objects which go the full depth of the foam, this is good and works well. Rounded sides cause problems due to the need to keep the knife exactly vertical, but the bigger problem is peeling the layers apart. This type of foam is often sold as being able to cut part-way through and peel the layers part—this specific foam says "Layered foam allows for depths to be set to suit the tool". Unfortunately, the glue holding the layers together is so strong that peeling them apart is next to impossible. It's far easier to cut part-way through a layer and then tear rough chunks out than it is to peel at a layer boundary! It's also very hard to find the layer boundaries when cutting (which may be as they are bonded so strongly together).Overall, the foam should provide good protection for items, but don't expect the results to look especially neat.

Used this to organise my draws on my roll cab box. Makes it extremely easy to know if something is missing as you can see the gap. Also keeps everything organised and laid out nicely so you can see everything with ease.
