Can I Trust this Pillow to Replace My Admittedly Old, Gross but Comfy One? Well, Yes, Yes I Can!
I am a creature of habit, and when I really love something, it’s hard for me to part with it even if it’s in tatters… Welcome to my pillow nightmares! I’ve known for a while that my pillow needed to be replaced as it’s been horribly pilling, the fabric is almost worn down and washing it for the zillionth time was going to be its last straw, but, oh, how perfect it felt! It really dawned on me that a replacement was a must when we spent a few days at our friend’s home and they had an assortment of pillows in their guesthouse to choose from - I THOUGHT I loved the Purple Pillow the best, so I ordered four of those for our home while we were there, but alas, those threw my spine all out of whack… I pawned them all off to my husband and son to use, and it luckily turns out that they actually work for them - I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m much smaller than they are, so the Purple was too high for me even at its lowest height and since I’m also a side sleeper, my head was raised too high - it was hard to fall asleep and when I awoke, my neck and back hurt. Anyway, I tried a few other highly regarded brands, and NOTHING fit the bill. See, my pillow is so flat and precisely molded to how I sleep, that I was convinced that nothing out of the package was going to mimic what took years and many washes to recreate… Then I saw an ad on Instagram for flat pillows, which I had no idea existed. I have that one on order, but in the meantime, I thought I’d jump on Amazon to see what their selection of flat pillows was like so I can get one earlier, maybe even love it, but at least be able to compare (we have an obscene collection of pillows at this point, so why not add more?!) it to the one that is on order. Long story longer, I purchased this pillow and another one off of Amazon called, EliteRest, and that one feels like a little thicker and harder version of my Lululemon yoga mat, so that’s a big nope, so I tried this Blissbury last night… I have to admit I had little hope in it when I first unfurled it from its bag as one of the sides was crushed, kinda like my heart at that point, but I worked it out with my hands and let it lay on a flat surface for 24 hours - I did, however, listen to advice in these reviews to NOT fluff it in the dryer like they suggest, which I’m SO glad I did! Come bedtime, I had it all ready to go, but my old pillow was on standby, as it’s been with every pillow trial, but this time, I did not grab it to switch it out overnight (if I feel an ounce of pain, I stop using pillows right away now, instead of torturing myself to “try to get used to it” for a few nights.) Anyway, I’m actually okay with the Blissbury because it’s the perfect height (dare I say better than my old one?!) and just soft enough, but better yet, it does conform a bit to your head and arm (if like me, you slide your arm underneath your pillow to cradle your head) which I did not think was a possibility until many, many uses and washes. It is heavier than my old pillow, but that’s really more of something that I won’t even notice, soon, but other than that, it actually exceeds my trusty, well-serving pillow, and I’m happy to say that I LOVE it! I’m going to purchase a few more, and leave one to solely pack for our many trips as hotel pillows are my very own personal hell - at least I now won’t have to worry if they will have a flatter one or have to suffer the ones that make me feel like I’m suffocating. If you are wondering if I’ll hold onto my old, faithful pillow, the answer is yes, but I doubt I’ll have to use it again… Bottom line is, especially if you are petite, a side sleeper and/or just prefer a flat pillow, this is the one - after probably over a thousand dollars later, and many night of lost sleep, I found this inexpensive one that checks all the boxes wonderfully. A good night’s sleep is priceless, so the journey was worth every cent, but let me help you to not have to go through all of that by just advising you to purchase this one! I’ve done all the work for ya! Enjoy, and have a good night again with the aid of a Blissbury!

Excellent pillow
I have a ton of neck issues . I need some what of a flat pillow . I hate to admit this but I’ve used the same pillow for 19 yrs because the ones I bought through the years never compared. This pillow is what I’ve been looking for . It’s not really cooling but the comfort level is amazing . Highly recommend. Definitely worth the price . Fabric is super soft .

Sizes are smaller than the norm
I love this pillow. I never thought that a flat pillow could be so comfy. It's supportive and soft and squishy. I can sleep in any position and still be comfortable. Some reviews said that the cooling side doesn't work. It works, its just that you can't use a pillow case on it for it to work. It keeps my head from getting too hot. I had to get used to that, I've used a pillow case all my life. Too bad its an ugly white color though, kind of sticks out but oh well, who's gonna see it? lolThe reason I took a star off is for the size. When I got it, it looked small and the tag says standard so I sent it back and received the exact same thing. Queen size pillows are supposed to be 20x30 inches but this one is 16x26. And yes it says that in the description but I didn't look because I know how big a queen is supposed to be. So I was right, it is small for a queen. I noticed the king size is also smaller than what a king size should be which is 20x36 inches, theirs is 16x34 inches. I didn't feel like sending it back again though because I love it.Oh and if it comes bunched up and doesn't fit in the cover... throw it in the dryer for about 15-20 minutes and it fluffs right up and fills it out.

I will take this pillow with me to the grave.
I’ve been sleeping on a pillow that I know is terrible for me for over a decade now just because I didn’t want to have to go through all the trouble searching for The Right pillow would bring (I imagined it could only be something reminiscent of Princess and the Pea). One day I finally just caved and decided the constant neck and back aches, along with the sleep I’d miss from tossing and turning all night trying to get comfy, needed to be put to an end. I did some searching in stores and nothing felt right. In fact, everything felt very much the opposite of what I knew I wanted. Was I crazy? I thought to myself. Was I the only one who didn’t want some giant clunky, lumpy orb of a pillow? I wanted something FLAT. Thin and flat. Like REALLY flat. I mean, part of the reason I was still using my same pillow from over a decade earlier was because I had warn it down so much that in places it was just two layers of fabric stitched together. So I decided to take to the internet to find something, though I immediately regretted it because I was bombarded by an overwhelming plethora of options. I was tired and cranky from being so tired and cranky all the time; I didn’t have the energy to look through everything. I normally wouldn’t go to Amazon because I prefer to support small businesses, but this was shortly after the holidays and someone had gifted me an Amazon gift card, so I begrudgingly moseyed on over. Again, WAYYYYY too many options. Even after I added my extra detailed searches terms and used just about every filter Amazon offers. Ultimately, it came down to this pillow and one that was incredibly similar —too similar for it to be an easy choice. What ended up selling me on this one was that the company who makes the pillows is a family business and they seemed like good people I could support and feel somewhat okay about supporting, unlike large corporations and that crazy MyPillow guy. Plus, I really liked that this pillow came in grey—a welcomed departure from the standard hospital-sheet-white that’ll end up showing every stain spilled within 5 feet of it. Low and behold, I order it, the pillow comes, I take it out of its cute little reusable drawstring backpack and wait for it to expand like it should. Several hours later, I moved it to the bed and decided to give it a test run. To my surprise, my head fell back what seemed to be uncomfortably far, and because the pillow was so firm, it felt like I was laying on just the bare mattress. I knew when I ordered it there was likely a 90% chance I would hate it, so I wasn’t about to get TOO upset. I decided I would try sleeping with it for a night or two because, honestly, I don’t trust my gut reaction to be indicative of what is ultimately the best for my spine health. So I went to bed with this pillow-that’s-almost-not-a-pillow, and the next time I woke up was late the next morning. This was shocking to me because I couldn’t remember the last time (or had it ever even happened?) I slept continuously throughout the night without so much as waking once. What’s more is that my neck and back were completely free of pain (well, maybe not completely, but it was such a noticeable difference that I was high off of relief). Long story short, I use this and only this pillow now. It’s perfect for sleeping on my back AND my stomach, both of which I like to do and never did I once think it were possible that a pillow could let me do both so easily. I’ve had such good luck with this pillow that my partner is now jealous and eyes my pillow longingly from time to time, even though they claim to like thick, hard pillows. So all in all, this pillow is definitely worth the price. Even if it’s just to try it out and ultimately settle on something different (but you probably won’t want to if your experience has been anything like mine).
