Works great for automotive body work.
The handle length makes it easy to set the rivets without having to pull too hard. The instructions tell you how to use the gauge if you're using smaller rivets, to prevent ripping the rivet out while setting them. If you are using larger rivets, watching the gauge isn't needed. The instructions were a bit confusing to me, but the tool is easy to use without them. I read that some people were stripping out the rivets. I did that as well, but it was because I was using the wrong adapter for the rivet I was setting. Somehow, a rivet of a larger size was mixed in with the container I was using.Definitely worth the buy. You can buy more expensive sets, but they don't come with anywhere near the amount of equipment this one does, and it's equally as durable as the others.

Better price point that electric or air
This is a great kit for limited use for home projects or any project you don’t mind some manual labor. The crush depth is adjustable so you can change the slack in the handles. It’s intuitive to use and comes with mandrels and rivet nuts for a lot of sizes. I used it to mount license plate screw holes on liftgates and bumpers and it does so with ease. Unless you’re looking to apply these in mass production, this is the way to go at an affordable price. I’ve applied over a thousand and the tool and mandrel have held up great.

Tool is great...
However the 3 separately sold mandrels was a bit of a sore rub. Theres even the spot in the case for storing them!!! The case for holding these rivnuts even has a spot for each of the 3 missing sizes!!

Such a valuable tool to have, but be patient!
The last application was yesterday and without this tool I would have had a much more difficult task with not nearly the quality result. Planning and patience in my case was needed to achieve a positive result, would have been so easy to fail without it. I took my time and planned it all out and the result is frankly better than the OEM original. I hesitated buying this because frankly quality is always in question on here and I have been disappointed before but just not the case here at all. It is a quality kit and includes everything needed
