Easy Install, and no special tools were required
I took other reviewers advice and purchased a rivet tool. That tool is still in an unopened box and needs to be returned. The rails come with special anchors which fit in (in my case) pre-drilled holes in the bed. Due to my spray-in bed liner, I had to drill out the holes slightly. Even still it was a snug fit to get the anchors installed, and I used a hammer to tap them in. The anchors seat themselves by screwing in the bolts, which you do before installing the rail. I used an impact driver just to speed things up. Once seated, you remove the bolts and install the rail. It was super easy and no rivet tool was required. The rail was new and in perfect condition, unlike some of the other reviewers. Install took about 30 minutes, including the time to figure out the instructions which don't have any words. :)

Still Cheaper than the Dealerships
What I like is that the kit has everything you need to install. What I disliked is the instructions are poorly written but reading outside reviews and blogs you can figure the install out. The rail is well made. I would recommend using a rivet tool. The hex shape nut will not sit well if you have the spray in bed liner. I was careful and used a Dremel tool to remove the bed liner spray from the holes without rounding the hole. However, when I went to torque down the nut based on the instructions the nut just spin. This is where rivet tool comes in and made the install very quick and easy. I found an inexpensive rivet tool on Amazon. All tolled the part and the tool was still cheaper than the dealership!

You NEED a threaded rivet tool
The installation instructions for the threaded nuts will ruin your truck if they fit anything like mine. The sheet says to use the bolt to collapse the nut, but the force needed to collapse it rounds out the hole and it spins and jiggles freely.I got a threaded rivet tool and was able to save the installation. The tool uses a straight crushing force to pull instead of twisting like the instructions recommend.I have seen videos of others without this problem, but none of the same model year as me so it may be a slight difference in hole size. Either way, get the correct tool for the job beforehand and save yourself the headache.Installed on a 2025 Ram 1500.

Sturdy and solid. Use the right tools.
Sturdy solid and adjustable. Fits like a glove. It does block the bed light inside a bit. If you have a factory spray in liner the nuts can be a little hard to set. Also a rivet tool is a must or else the nuts will spin. Once set these rails go in perfectly.

Came in a beat up pakage
Box was beat up. Look like these were used and not new and had missing and broken parts. But it did install easily when I got everything together.

Easy install, can’t live without it
Makes cargo so easy to handle. Put the hookups right where you want them. Easy to install though if you have a drop in bed liner you will have to make some cuts in the liner to access the mounts. I used a die grinder and oscillating tool, very easy and installed in under an hour.

Kind of the only option for Ram
I'm on my fourth Ram 1500 truck. And it seems no matter what you spend. These truck$ don't get the bed rail systems other trucks often get at most trim levels. And with only 4 low anchor points. Most loads like my bikes and kayaks are limited to how you secure them.Anyway the kit is good, but at this price I would hope for a bit more. Even with inflation and almost needing to buy a rivet nut tool as others suggested ($40+). The rails managed to flop loose during shipping and got a few scuffs. Plus, I used the rivet nut tool I bought separately to seat the nuts and even without a full torque. I still snapped a bolt. Not sure how anyone would have set the nuts just using the bolts as shown in the minimal instructions.Anyways, if you got a Ram truck. This kit might be the only option unless you do the bed pockets. And with that kit, none of the newer/nicer/cheaper, all metal kits fit the newer trucks yet. I also doubt they can handle as much weight as I hope the rails will be able to hold.To the manufacturer. Would it kill you to include at least 2 extra nuts and bolts!! Nearly $300 and you leave no room for defects or errors. Had to buy what was available from hardware center.
