Exactly as described. I’d prefer swapping the chrome emblem for a black, but since it’s a leased vehicle, this was the next best option. Me and my 15 year old daughter did it (she applied) in 10 minutes. Very easy. Time will tell if it holds up, but happy with the purchase right now.

Basically still looks like chrome. Took off to buy something else.

Applied to my MDY in less than 10 minutes. As the vendor explained in the listing, the lettering won't overlap the whole DUAL MOTOR badge because it is in 3D. It only covers the flat top of the badge so don't expect it to cover the whole DUAL MOTOR badge. Probably, one needs to look elsewhere for the whole badge. Also, this Badge wrap doesn't come with the red underline. The red underline was from Tesla original for the Performance MDY

These will not give you the total blacked out look and they do not advertise that they do. So not fault at all for the seller. They do tone down the chrome a little, but seeing the matte black version against the midnight silver car color it is very subtle. Maybe the way most will know it’s different is if it was parked next to another one without any decals. Overall, I still like them and will keep them on for now. Take your time. I messed up the “T” on the first try bit they give you a second set just in case of an accident.

This turned out perfect! Looks like a definite upgrade and does not look cheap like the plastic stick on covers do. I needed my wife to do this for me and she was patient and made it look perfect. The kit did come with 2 sets of lettering so you get a second chance for each letter. Highly recommended, subtle change that makes a big difference.

So I bought this knowing it would be more of an outline but it’s hard to know how effective it will be unless you see it against the car. The coverage is so thin against my gray car, you can barely see it the black. I think against a white car it might stand out more. Right now, it doesn’t look like anything is there so felt like this was just a waste of money. They should really try to make the letters thicker to get any kind of real look out of it.

Better have a steady hand when installing. I believe you need the label to stick to the upper application layer but it doesn't making it hard to peel and align.
