How many cycles can I continues use this vacuum in a day ?

It will shut off when the filter needs cleaned. I have cleaned mine out 3 times in one day. I am sure it could have went for as long as needed

Can you plug the power box into a heavy duty extension cord? My power supply is 12 ft from the pool and i have a 27ft above ground round pool.

As long as the extension cord, and the plug to the power supply are covered, and do not get wet, it will work!
