Q: Do these fit the 2021? the page gives a warning that they do not but i am not aware of any changes as the my just released earlier this summer.

Yes. this would fit 2021 Model Y. VIN numbers starting from late Sep or Oct production of Model Y are classified as 2021. I got an Oct production in 61,000 range. I did get the warning that this won't fit 2021 model Y from Amazon but I guess Amazon didn't get the memo.
