5mm hex wrench and if you have either a drill-bit or socket attachment for it--highly recommend. Obviously you wanna take it eas
I think 4.5/5.0 stars is about right in terms of overall quality. Some of the construction material is suspect in terms of quality but there is a lifetime warranty from Ergohuman (*crosses fingers* "please don't go out of business--PLEASE!!!").First, I've owned this chair for all of about 35 minutes now. It takes about 15 minutes to assemble (including unpacking time). The only tool you really need, I believe is a 5 or 5.5mm hex wrench and if you have either a drill-bit or socket attachment for it--highly recommend. Obviously you wanna take it easy when you're finally getting the bolts (only 6 (in 3 pairs) are used for complete assembly and it comes with a spare for each type) to be properly seated.- Pro: The extra hardware included but it arouses suspicions as to why they included it...no faith in integrity of the design??? But it's there--so there's that and I'm happy about it because if I need it--it'll be nice to have on-hand but if I do end up needing it, for the $600+ price tag, I am not going to be a satisfied consumer.- Pro: immediately-noticeable comfort- arm rests have yaw adjustment range and vertical height adjustment range- lumbar support has vertical adjustment range along with tilt/pitch adjustment- seat has depth adjustment range along with tilt/pitch control and standard vertical height adjustment- headrest has vertical adjustment range and tilt/pitch control as well.- SUMMARY--this thing WILL let you find your sweet spot in terms of comfortably-supported posture- Pro: LIFETIME WARRANTY, this is prolly what justifies the $600+ price tag.- Con: the casters are 100% plastic except the pivot shaft...which is kinda like "seriously?" for $600+ USD and complete plastic? I know it's standard fare for the wheels to be some kinda plastic but even the mount assembly? I have suspicions about the durability of this product, right out of the box.- Con: the arm covers, it's the typical foam that has a surface treatment to operate like a jacket but it's all one piece. My concern is that the support frame, which the arm rest covers, doesn't support it that well going forward. I know people tend to use the arm rests to kind of lift themselves into standing when leaving the seated position so I definitely see that causing advanced wear and suffering inevitable breakage just do to the inadequate support, I would say the internal support frame supports 85% of the arm rest cover with 2% hanging off the rear, negligible and understandable, and about 13% ish unsupported toward the very front tip.I've seen lots of office chairs with worn arm rests. Iunno what to even think about that. Like nobody has come up with an intelligent design to defeat the majority of wear in that area?Anyway, so far I am enjoying it and I hope it will support my posture proper 'cause I just started going to school full-time online (hence purchase).I hope this helps you guys in terms of what to expect with the purchase.

I love this chair!
I have back issues and I use this chair every day as a college student. I spent a whole day walking around different stores/warehouses trying several high-end chairs and this was the one I felt was best. I have owned it for a few months now and I couldn’t be happier with it! The mesh/fibrous material is elastic and contouring and feels strong and durable. I love all of the adjustment options in the armrests and the seat and backrest. The steel frame also feels very solid and the wheels roll nicely on carpet which is a plus. I also feel great with this chair knowing that the warranty will cover any issues I may have. I would recommend for anyone wanting a highly customizable, ergonomic and aesthetic chair.

Rather amazing. Another reviewer mentioned that they'd prefer the seat ...
I purchased this chair in May of 2012. As someone who works from home at a PC for untold hours each month, the investment has been more than justified by the comfort and adjustability of this chair. I did encounter a significant failure but it was immediately remedied by the Eurotech company, as explained below!I am 6'2" and I find that it raises just high enough -- both height from the ground and height from seat to headrest. The mesh material is shockingly durable...I've been in this chair for thousands of hours and it has yet to show any signs of wear (3 years x 300 days (conservatively) x 6 hours per day (conservatively) = 5400). Rather amazing.Another reviewer mentioned that they'd prefer the seat to tilt up and down. I totally agree. That would alleviate stress points for many people, though personally I've made it irrelevant by purchasing a 'Geek Desk' which raises from a sitting to a standing height. I also wish that the lumbar support was more aggressive...for the past few years I've had an additional lumbar pillow on the chair, which causes me zero difficulty and results in a near-perfect sitting experience. The real reason I'm leaving this review is to praise Eurotech's warranty and customer service. After a crazy amount of using this chair, I one day found that it was locked all the way 'back', which is to say that I could not tilt it forward. I tried everything I could think of...tightening/loosening bolts, using WD-40 on key joints, etc. etc. Ultimately, I filled out a simple form with Eurotech including a PDF file of my original purchase. Within 10 hours a representative replied and said that no, I couldn't service it myself (as I'd hoped), but that yes, they would replace it.I needed a new 'Seat and Mech' in their parlance, which meant literally an entire new mesh seat with all of the attached mechanisms...it probably weighed 20 pounds, accounted for 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the entire chair's design, and yet they shipped it to me in a few days with ZERO cost for S&H or anything else. Truly an unparalleled customer-service experience.I bought this product with a 'Lifetime Warranty', it broke, and they fulfilled the warranty once I proved my original purchase. It shouldn't be revolutionary, but I've gotta say...it was a refreshing experience to get a brand new piece of pricy equipment with virtually no hoops to jump through.I could comment on every single aspect of this chair, so if you have a burning question please leave it below and I'll reply. All in all, I love this product and am even more enamored with their customer service.

The arms broke off after only 4 months!
The armrest wiggle around so badly and the height adjustment for them is so cheap. There is no latch or button to lock them in place. If you decide that you want the armrest just a tad lower, you have to raise them all the way up to go all the way down before you can try to adjust the height again. The seat is very shallow. So much so that most of your legs are not supported at all, causing pain in my legs from the barstool like support for them. If I can't find a reason soon to keep it, this damn thing is going back.9/18/2020 - After owning this chair for 3 months, the bolts have started to sheer in half and fall out. Leaving half of the bolt stuck in the chair. The warranty does not cover Shipping or, get this, the labor for making the repairs. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR!10/02/2020 The arms have started to break off of the chair. This is $30 chair sold for $700.
