This is a pathetic misrepresentation of size. I bought these to individually package hamburg patties. 4"x6" right? Should have worked great.No, the published size is the gross overall dimensions of the bag. They have over 1/2 " of heat seal on each side and on the bottom. The unsealed width of these are less than 3" they are not even big enough to store 2 breakfast sausage links and still fit in the machine.

These bags are wonderful. They seal EVERY time. I just got them a couple of days ago and I’ve already used them several times to portion out smoked peppers, roasted poblanos and sweet summer corn. I also deboned a rotisserie chicken and packed 3 oz of breast meat in each bag to have something fast I can eat when I cook something else for my family. They are perfect. I seal up the single size portions and keep them in a ziplock bag in the freezer. Before I had tried making small bags from the big rolls of Foodsaver bags and they would not seal. These are a lifesaver! No more freezer burn! I have a pepper garden(18) and these will definitely come in handy to roast or smoke them and make myself a single portion for myself. ( no one else in my family eats the peppers, but I do with almost every meal :) I will continue to buy. I have zero complaints.

I use these little bags, along with a foodsaver, to bag up a reasonable snack size for pecans, almonds, nuts, etc. It is much easier to eat too much if you get them out of a jar or can each time. This also allows me to buy in quantity rather than paying huge per ounce prices for pre-bagged nuts/snacks. You can keep them in the freezer and they will last a very very long time. I could also imagine this being useful for bagging snacks or small lunch side items for school children, or to leave in a bin for your children to help themselves. Recommended.

The ONLY reason I took off a few stars is the size was not accurate. Keeping anyway as I will use them for other things than originally purchased. Really, excellent bags with the exception of size not being accurate.Look, these are great bags. They have a "rip" cut and are perfect size for small things you want to waterproof yet be able to open easily. It IS a bit unfair to ding two stars for the size as they aren't massively off but you need to get the size you expect.I will be using these for travel medication as I need the waterproofing and small bags.Re-advertise with the right size or send me a ruler as both of mine are off.
