The Only Foundation I’ll Use — Dewy, Hydrating, and Finally a Shade That Matches!
I’ve tried dozens of foundations over the years, from high-end to drugstore, and this is the only one I keep coming back to. It gives me that rich, dewy glow I love—without needing to set it with powder—and actually feels good on my skin. It’s lightweight, hydrating, and makes my complexion look smooth and naturally radiant. One of the best things? It actually matches my very light skin. That’s incredibly hard to find, especially without going into luxury price tags. The undertone is just right—no weird orange cast, no ashy finish—just a seamless blend that looks like real skin. And the price? Honestly, it feels like a steal. It performs like a foundation three times the price. I stock up on it because I’m afraid of it ever being discontinued.Pros:✔️ Gorgeous dewy finish—no powder needed✔️ Hydrating, breathable, and lightweight✔️ One of the few true matches for fair/light skin✔️ Doesn’t cling to dry patches or settle into fine lines✔️ Super affordable for the qualityFinal Thoughts:If you want a foundation that’s hydrating, gives a beautiful skin-like glow, actually matches pale skin, and doesn’t break the bank—this is it. I’ve completely stopped searching. This is my holy grail.

One of the best foundations I've tried in a while
This foundation is absolutely amazing. The name Truskin doesn't lie - it's so lightweight it feels and looks like skin. The shade I got was a bit lighter than I expected, so I have to add a little bronzer after. It doesn't matter how you apply it (a sponge, a brush, fingertips), the result is pretty much the same: beautiful.I have oily and acne prone skin. I was a bit afraid that after a few minutes later my face would be ultra shiny, but it wasn't. It was actually glowy, looking healthy and moisturized. A little bit goes a long way, so if you prefer more natural coverage, just a few drops will do the job. However, it's totally buildable, and will only look cakey if you go crazy on the setting powder step. There was little to no transfer when I dabbed my face with some tissue, which is great. It lasts pretty much the whole day, unless you're like me and touch your face all the time (which is not the product's fault, right?).I'm 39 years old and most foundations I purchased in the last 2 years ended up creasing or looking patchy throughout the day. This one didn't, and I won't even mention how budget-friendly it is. I will order the right shade for me in a couple of days, cause I know already how good this product is. I definitely recommend it.

great for dry skin
i really love this foundation. the price is great, the packaging is pretty, and the coverage is nice. it covers blemishes well, but isn't so full coverage that it looks cakey. it also builds up well, so you can add extra coverage where you need it. i have rosacea in my cheeks, and this covers it well. it doesn't sit in the pores too much. it is very moisturizing. i have combination skin, and it works great over the dry areas. it can break apart and look shiny on the more oily parts of my skin after a workday, even with setting powder and setting spray. i wouldn't recommend this for my oily friends, or for use in the summer when you get sweaty easier.

Catrice Foundation
Great price. Good coverage. Would not recommend for mature dry skin. It goes on very powdery and settles into wrinkles and has a drying drawing affect. At least for me. Has good pigmentation, goes on easily and did not have build up the coverage. For me, it how it sit on the skin after application that was the draw back.

Wanted to Love It, But It Just Didn’t Work for Me
I had high hopes for the Catrice True Skin Foundation, especially since I love the Catrice HD foundation and was looking for something a bit more skin-like and moisturizing. Unfortunately, this just didn’t live up to my expectations.I’ve given this foundation multiple chances because I really wanted to make it work. I tried it with different primers, without primer, over exfoliated skin, with and without moisturizer—you name it, I’ve tried it. No matter the method, the result was the same: patchy and unflattering. My skin is generally normal but tends to lean a bit dry in the winter, and this foundation clung to every dry spot, especially around my nose. It also settled into fine lines, making me look older than I am (I’m 37). On some days, it looked decent upon application, and I’d get my hopes up, thinking I finally cracked the code. But shortly after, it would break down and look patchy and uneven.I was hoping for a natural, skin-like finish with a touch of hydration, but it emphasized texture instead. If you have oily skin or maybe very smooth, perfectly prepped skin, this might work better for you. Sadly, it just didn’t suit my skin type or needs.I still love other products from Catrice, but this one was a miss for me. I’d recommend the Catrice HD foundation over this if you’re looking for something that looks more natural and doesn’t settle into fine lines.Hope this helps someone who’s on the fence about trying this!
