Amazing quality for the price
I'm a knife collector -- mostly of folding pocket knives. I own nearly 100 examples from many diverse brands such as Benchmade, Cold Steel, CRKT, Spyderco, Kershaw, Schrade, Al Mar, Paragon, Artisan, Buck, Leatherman, Gerber, Boker and I'm sure there are a few I am forgetting. I was initially hesitant to purchase this because of the unknown brand and the business it potentially takes away from Benchmade (and the trademark of "Axis lock" SRM/the seller is blatantly violating - Benchmade's patent expired a few years ago on the Axis lock, but they still have a trademark on the name). (However, in SRM's defense, their actual literature included with the knife calls it the "Ambi lock.")Those concerns aside, however, the knife is just plain amazing for the money. If someone handed me this knife with no background information and asked me to guess the price, I would say somewhere in the $60 range. If they told me it cost $100, I wouldn't be that surprised. I might think that a wee bit high given the 8Cr13MoV blade steel, but it wouldn't be beyond the pale. That it costs 1/3rd to 1/5th that is astounding. The "ambi" lock action is smooth on my example and barely stiffer than my Benchmade models. (And I do mean barely. If we score Benchmade Axis lock tension and smoothness as a perfect 5 equidistant between 1 too loose and 10 too stiff, the SRM "Ambi" would be a 5.1.) I'm not seeing the issue of stiff and rough action in the lock that other reviewers have talked about. The only further slight difference worth mentioning is that the lock bolt itself has a bit more lateral play than in my Benchmades. I don't know if it will, but I could foresee this causing binding down the road as use accumulates into wear on the lock components. Otherwise, the lockup is tight, the blade pivot is smooth, the centering is nearly dead on, the grinds are nearly perfect, the blade came sharp, and the handle scale beveling is nearly perfect. I also like the feel of this thumb disc better than any on any of my other knives. In short, if you are collector/user and don't mind the questionable business practices of this company/seller regarding the trademark issue, this is a great knife for $20.

Nicely Styled but...
Like:1) Very nice example of an upswept, trailing point blade.2 Nice copy "sort of",of Benchmade button lock3) Sharp4) Inexpensive5} SmoothDislike1) Edge is uneven at the curve (see pic)2) Thumb wheel is inefficientOutstanding styling makes this a nice addition to my collection. At first I thought the unevenness of the edge profile was only my example but it may be on all of these knives. My quip about the thumb wheel is a preference thing. Because of it's position being at the top of the blade I lose leverage, so there's more "wrist action" needed to flick this blade open compared to a thumb stud. Once i became familiar with this it was easier. A thumb wheel does allow the blade to be more hidden than a thumb stud so it adds to the slick styling. To my eye, the edge is an issue so I took away 1 star. Jus saying...

Very Smooth Knife
It's a really nice knife especially for the price. Opens really smooth, lock works very well, and I like the feel of the G10 scales. Also comes pretty sharp and the sharpening choil makes it easy to sharpen. Overall 10/10

Excellent knife, terrible clip
I like many others, have a vast collection of knives ranging from the wally world Gerber to the military issued Benchmade. This knife is comparable to just about anything in the $40-$60 range.Blade shape is a bit funky but very useful once you learn it's capabilities. Holds an edge quite well. Skins 4/0 wire like nobody's business. We are hard on knives in the power line industry. The only and fatal flaw is the cheap clip. Nevermind the clip being at the opposite end as opposed to most knives. The clip is simply cheap and flimsy. It bends like a paperclip. It literally got caught on my work jacket and bent while being pulled out of my pocket. I proceeded to take the clip off and bend it back to the right shape with a little more tension and fresh blue loc-tite on the screws.Fast forward to 3 weeks later and the clip bent enough to let the knife slip off my pocket while coyote hunting. Lost to the night forever, this knife lasted me one month and one week exactly. For $20 I'm not terribly upset, although I would have loved to keep carrying it, a good little blade that got a lot of compliments and questions.I cannot recommend this knife to anyone else due to the flimsy clip.

Overall great knife
This is now the best knife and favorite in my collection. It is very sharp and I love the locking mechanism, I feel no give or wiggle in the frame or the lock. Comfortable to hold and lightweight, and just a cool looking knife.

Great affordable knife for someone that's just getting started
I've been collecting high-end pocket knives for about 4 years now not everybody needs something that cost a couple hundred dollars this knife is a great little knife for the price on the axis lock locks up strong don't expect to flick it open really easily you might have to loosen the pivot screw which is not hard to do although I would advise putting a little Loctite in just to keep it from listening too much great little knife Cuts well decent steel I'm good affordable price bought it as a Christmas gift for a friend that was wanting a pocket knife but didn't know what to get and it was a little nervous I bought other knives from this company before and not really had any complaints I don't know if I trust the axis lock for if I were to pound it on the spine or if it was vibrating to a good degree sometimes the axis locks can kind of jump open and yes I am saying axis lock because the patent expired that's what it was originally patented under
