Finally got to use it and it performed like a champ.
Bought this several months in advance for a trip to Bonaire. Bonaire is part of the Netherlands and they have those two-prod round plugs and a little higher voltage/amps. The main wire was configured right so we didn't have to use one of the other two adapters. We followed the simple instructions and left the little red box plugged into the wall below the kitchen table. During meals, my wife, daughter, and I would charge all our devices simultaneously since there are several standard US outlets and several USB outlets. The unit doesn't have any of those mini-USB outlets, so be sure to save the day, like my wife did, and pack one of those regular plug conversion blocks for your mini-USB charging cords.

Make sure you have the correct plug adapter for the country you are visiting.
This was a very good purchase!! I went to England for 3 weeks and just plugged it in. Charged our phones, laptops, and connected to my Amazon Stick to it "all at the same time". It worked very well and you could hardly hear it was on. We will definitely take this with us on our next trip outside the US.

Works, but no grounding.
It's a bit dodgy that the power cord socket on the device has the earth pin, but the cable is just a pair of conductors, so nothing's grounded if plugged into the converter.Otherwise, seems fine. Tested it with a multimeter and got the proper voltage on the output. Not sure of anyone needs to know, but there is a very faint buzz. It's absolutely nothing bad, but perhaps someone would find this useful.

Wouldn’t travel without it!!
I bought this product several years ago. It has been so useful that I knew I had to write a review for it. We have taken it to Ireland, Scotland, England, Tanzania, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. It has been a great product and extremely useful for us. When we were in Tanzania, we would plug it in and the crowd we were traveling with would charge their phones. I highly recommend this product.

You Don't Need This!!! Really!!
Seriously, you don't need this for smart phones, camera or computers. Here is why. Look at the pictures. If you got a smart phone bought within the last 10 years, the electronics are made for all international voltage. Why? because they are all made in China in one big factory and sold to the entire world. We don't make things in the US anymore. Unless you have an obscure piece of electronic more than 10 years old, this is useless. You can always check the small writings on the electronic.Look for 110V-240V. That means it operates on both 110 volt in US and 220 or 240 volts international. Here is the exception:Appliance like hairdryer or toaster do need the right voltage. The cheaper ones of these appliance are not computer controlled, so they need the right voltage. Nicer ones of these will be dual voltage. But here is the problem, this low wattage converter will never run a hairdryer. This is only 200 watts max. Hairdryer is 600 watts and above. So don't even think about using this for a toaster or hairdryer. In conclusion, this thing is not needed for any modern electronics. Things that do need it, this is too small to handle. I ask you, what good is this thing? Is a waste of luggage space. Is sad, but this is a "feel good" device to make you think you are doing something when is a waste of time, money and space. One of our family member bought this by accident. We didn't even bother to take it on our trip. We just bought along the square adapters to change the shape of the outlet plug. The fan is always on, and very noisy. This is cheap. Nicer electronics will turn off the fan unless is needed. For charging smart phones at 2A, you don't need that fan. I ended up sticking a popsicle stick into the fan to stop it from turning. Now is quiet, and we just use the 4 USB ports to charge phones at home.

Smart Purchase
I live in Vietnam where my home has 220 volt circuits. There are a lot of appliances that require 110volts. I learned the hard way when I plugged in a Milwaukee battery charger for my cordless shop vac. The thing lost its mind and went ape before it started smoking just like the Waterpik from which I should have learned my lesson, but didn't. So, now I have several of these in my bedroom and they have been working very well for several years now.
