Q: So the air chamber is only in half of the pillow? pumping it up only pumps up one side?

The air chamber runs along the smaller side that you lay on. It's suppose to inflate all along the lower side to support your neck at the proper height depending on weather you are laying on your back or on your side. I just received a replacement for one of the two I just ordered and it wouldn't inflate at all until I removed the pump off the first pillow and replaced the pump on the newest pillow. Slept on it last night and all was well.

Q: What are the dimensions of this pillow? My chiro told me to get a mid-size gentle. I am thinking of trying this one to ease the break in period.

Dimensions don't matter. This pillow is different from any other I've ever had. The'depression: that you see is a major part of the design. You face outward from each end as you roll onto your side, the back of your head fits in the depression when you are on your back: sizes don't matter. The air pump allows you to enlarge the section that is under your neck to suit yourself...exactly. There is no break in peroid with this new design. I highly recommend it.

more like a poolside pillow. it is not as plush.

Q: Does the top of your head angle upwards because of the Lump at the top of the pillow? I have neck pains from other pillows that do that. Thanks.

NoThe answer is no, but I pump up the air in the lower chamber so my neck is curved right. The top lump is a soft one. The bottom one can adjust a lot in firmness based on how much air you add to chamber. Good luck! (Ps I love this pillow)
