I purchased this to be able to use my jetboil with propane when needed. It works great. It also works with my regular small butane rocket stove.

We tried this tank converter and it worked at first, but then the flame died down. I tried to fix it, but I ended up removing the part off the tank and then we had a short fire ball in the room. Please be careful with these things. Make sure the flame is completely off before removing.

I honestly think this is the greatest little thing to use as an adapter for a small campfire burner. This will allow me to use iso butane as well as propane while cooking in the outdoors. I also like the propane tanks are a little bit bigger so if I’m going like car camping or something, I can take a slightly bigger fuel source for my camping cooking needs.

I use this adapter with my small backpacking stove (SnowPeak), to make it compatible with the larger (cheaper) propane canisters when I'm car camping. No need to buy a separate stove burner, and saves lots of money on gas canisters.

Whoever invented it is a genius! I love using my jet boiler for making a quick cup of tea during our regular car camping trips. With this adapter I can use regular cheap gas instead of backpacking expensive ones.
