Only if you are planning on using an external pwm input, so in your case yes.

Q: How do i get this to work with a 24v cpap motor using 5v pwm?

In order to enable PWM there are a pair of solder pads that need to be jumpered. The label silkscreened above them on the PCB is J1. They are adjacent to the two white shrouded 5 pin JST connectors. I put a two pin 0.1” pitch header on mine so they can be mated with a shunt jumper. The speed adjust pot needs to be turned all the way counter-clockwise and the PWM signal is connected to the pin labeled 0-5V.
