Fabulous toothbrush for kids! Must have.
I sing this toothbrush’s praises all the time! My 5 year old granddaughter brushed her teeth but not effectively. This thing is Fabulous! She puts her tablet on the bathroom counter so the camera can see her face, the toothbrush has a program that is a game and shows her where to brush the little plaque 🐞 bugs away for so many seconds in each part of her mouth. It doesn’t have her move on until she’s been brushing that section long enough. Once she’s brushed away all the plaque characters she wins and gets to take a picture with a crown, hat, or other funny character pictures. There are dozens of brushing games and themes she can pick. It’s easy to do but fun for them to go through. The battery life goes on forever!!! I’m telling you, this thing is the best toothbrush made for kids. I just bought another one to stay at Gigi’s house.

Highly recommend!
My daughter LOVES this! The app is such a great incentive. My daughter used to dread brushing her teeth. Since getting this she looks forward to it and asks to do it throughout the day as well. The battery life has been great so far. I have to replace the batteries once every 4-6 months.

Fun and Effective!
My 4.5?year old son loves this! It actually makes toothbrushing fun so I don’t have to ask him to do it twice. His favorite part is the mask rewards that he gets to use to take silly pictures.

Multiple Kids can use One
The toothbrushes are not connected to the app in any way, the app can somehow use the dots on the bottom of the brush to know where the brush is in the mouth. This is the page for the automated brushing toothbrush but there is a manual one as well that is cheaper and it is all you need to work with the Hum app/game. Also I think even a non-HUM toothbrush would work as there was a choice for that but I guess not as well.I have a 2-yo and a 3-yo and both are able to use one automated Hum toothbrush. It's not really worth getting them each one because only one can use the app/game at a time anyway, just get extra heads if you are squeamish. There is a spot in the game where you can give each kid their own profile so they are each playing their own game. This has really transformed toothbrushing time for me, it was looking like I was going to have to hold my younger child down to get his teeth brushed but now he really likes to do it. At 2 he's not great at the game but it's a lot better than the one-second swipe it used to be. And my 3-almost-4 year old does great with the game and it helps her to get all her teeth. It was such a hassle we used to only brush once a day but now they are begging to brush twice a day. Thank you Colgate!

Worth every penny.
I have two boys (7 and 8) and getting them to brush was a fight every day. Now they ask me when they get to play their toothbrushing game. The app is easy to use, they love the masks and getting stars at the end of each level, and now I know they're hitting all of the right spots when they brush.I did take the advice of another poster here and just got one plus the replacement heads, they have their toothbrush head marked and just switch out, I'm glad we did!Without a doubt, one of my top 5 favorite purchases ever.

My kids looks forward to brushing her teeth.
This is was a great find. To combine toothbrushing with an augmented reality game is genius. Basically the app uses your phone to recognize the position of the toothbrush so it knows if the correct part of the teeth is getting cleaned. On top of that, each section of teeth is timed so you know they are adequately brushed. It keeps us from second guessing if our kids properly brushed their teeth or not. In addition you can set multiple profiles in the app if you have multiple children.

Discontinued- Replacement heads not available
Unfortunately, I spent about $50 on this right before Christmas, not knowing Colgate had discontinued it. It wasn’t until today (just under 60 days of having it), when I tried to buy replacement heads because the one we have is worn down, that I learned this information. The only place the replacement heads are available is via amazon and they are about 20/ea, vs $18 for 2 (back when they were still available from Colgate). Please don’t waste your money. As of now, I hear the Colgate 360 heads will work, but they are adult sized brushes and may not work well for younger children. I’m going to get some to see how they work for my 7 year old, but not sure how long they will be available.Highly disappointed in Colgate for continuing to sell these without being transparent (still seeing ads all over streaming services and social media) and without highly discounting them considering they are not continuing to support these without being transparent replacement heads.
