When plugged into a MotoTRBO and Android phone, the cross-link works right away, and the radio need not be CPS programmed for VOX operation. The dongle/adapter handles the PTT trigger. Tested on XPR and APX. APX triggers TX, but will not output audio back to the phone. Radio operation sans microphone is unaffected, and volume knob on radio still passes normal speaker audio, which is also variable out to the attached Zello device. Using this on a Connect Plus system, which dissallows CPS programming for VOX, so the ability of this adapter to provide it's own PTT trigger is really nice.
