This was my second remote I bought for my TCL TV. The remote quit responding, I thought it was the remote, the one I bought did not work, so I replaced the IR receiver, and still did not work. On a whim I bought this remote, and it worked right away. I think it's because this remote is bluetooth, and the other was just IR.

I ordered this but was hesitant so I canceled the order because I had to check the model number. For some reason, if you look at the similar remotes some say, no voice function 🫠 I reset my entire television, and had to reset the apps as well, reset the remote and dead.I should note I ordered a previous remote a few years ago and it did not work at all.This is why I was hesitant. But I ordered this one, had to open the panel to insert the batteries and pair. It works 😍Please check the model number if you have it available, which may also be difficultread carefully to find exactly what it is you need. Go all the way down to further instructions and look for the model number if you can. Just like refilled ink, these things are difficult

Easy to pair couldn’t find our clicker so got this as a replacement and it worked just like the one the tv came with. After 2-3 months we found our original clicker but now we always have a back up

Works perfect!! No programming and it's worth the money. I took it out the pack and started using the remote without any problems.
