Worked flawlessly
Worked flawlessly. You can't tell what they are doing in the video because the writing is in some other language Asian but you must run the patch in administrator mode by right clicking on the icon. Not worth it if you have a SR5 Tacoma, there are really no customizable setting options once you do get in.

Buggy software and inoperable cable
The software did not work. After I deleted the viruses that came on the disc, I was able to install a *locked* version of Techstream, requiring me to buy a code from Toyota to use it. I could have done that for free on Toyota’s website without malware. The computer did not recognize my cable when I installed shareware basic scanning software. Both components let me down on this kit.

Works great with windows 10
Could not get the driver to load with windows 7 and wasted a lot of time. Just use windows 10 and it will take you 10 mi9nutes to program a new remote. They need to change the listing to windows 10.

Worked Great!
After reading all the warnings about viruses on the disc, i decided to use an old Windows 10 laptop thatI no longer really use. I didn't get any virus warnings and successfully programmed 2 immobilizer keys and the remote fob buttons to lock and unlock the doors on a 2009 Camry

Don’t put the disc in your computer!!
The included disc contains ransomware. My security caught it, but I still had a few issues. The install instructions are terrible. I wouldn’t want this cable or software anywhere near my computer or my car. Eat the cost of the key if you have to. I went to Ace, which is cheaper than the dealership by far. I paid $181 for mine.

Cable works
I did not use the software but the cable allows me to use techstream to diagnose and fix stuff. Changed the VIN on a couple of used modules.

Complete waste of money
The cable may or may not work and the software is garbage. I am an IT engineer and could not get this to work. A total waste of money. After installing the drivers and installing the software nothing worked. The software was unresponsive, slow, and would never connect to vehicle.
