Good product
I bought this for my outdoor sprinkler system. The pipe ends always seem to bugger up the threads and you are stuck buying new ones or tearing part of the system apart. With these just an easy turn on and off and you are 100% again. So easy with the Right Tools. I also bought the taps of the same size for the internal threads. Working Great!!!

Nice concept
This looked like a perfect tool to have in my irrigation supply box. Being able to thread my own custom-size sections of sprinkler pipe was an exciting prospect. Unfortunately, the thread maker that I received would not cut into the perfectly cut, new piece of 1/2" pvc pipe that i tried to thread. The cutter appeared to be sharp and well formed. However, all of the components (cutter, handle/frame, and pipe sleeve) were somewhat loose and wobbly when assembled. Consequently, I couldn't really hold the cutter perpendicular to the end of the pvc pipe. With much effort, though, I managed to maintain a somewhat steady placement of the cutter, but then I couldn't do any better than to create a slightly rounded edge on the pipe. I just couldn't get the cutter to bite into the pipe. I did try running the cutter on to a threaded piece of pipe and it engaged and traveled onto the pipe threads without any problem. The concept of this tool is certainly great but it needs some redesign and better fit and finish before it will be of any real value to us DIYers.
