A little background. I suffer from Osteoarthritis, it runs on my mothers side. I used to carve Native Alaskan masks and some other Native Alaskan Art for years. I had to quit and sell all my carving knives because of the pain. For 5 or 6 years now there has been that empty place in my heart especially when I see and talk to old Native Alaskan carving friends that i see from our carving sessions at the local High School and University 1 night a week.My wife saw these paint by numbers while looking at Amazon. I got interested and watched a few videos. I ordered this set and I started out with the twin peaks and pink sky painting, i thought that might be the easiest one. It turned out good when viewed from across the room. I can see every detail that i made mistakes on. This is a GREAT learning curve. I have never done art painting in my life.My hands don't hurt while doing this!I'm now working on the flower walkway with all of those magical colors. I am taking my time AND I am using magnifying glasses over my prescription glasses and that made a world of difference.I couldn't imagine the improvement in my ability's in picture #2. I'm only 20% done and it will take me some time but this ones going to be much better because I learned a lot from the 1st painting.I have recommended this set and other sets to friends!

Bought this as a gift. It was value for money and much appreciated.

Relaxing craft

These are intricate, fun, beautiful paint by numbers! The brushes aren't the best quality, but they'll do if you don't have any that are better.I did have issues with the white/pale paints. Because the lines and numbers on the paintings are black, they were impossible to fully cover with just the light paints alone. I had to do two coats of my own white acrylic and then two more coats of the light paints on top to ensure full coverage of the black details. If the lines and numbers were printed in a light gray, it would really save some headache!

Very beautiful designs. The colors are great and the actual color by numbers comes on this thicker cloth what’s very nice. Very nice to function as a relaxing method. worth the money.

First picture is an example of what the finished product should look like, and it comes with the kit. Second picture is my work in progress. If you compare the shading of the sky in the upper left corner, you’ll see that my top 2 shades of blue are so similar, it looks like one big patch of the same color. A little below that, you can see that the paint in #22 is white (I have also painted a coat of it over the number 22 on the canvas, can barely see it), while in the example, that area is light blue. Still a fun project that is turning out decently, but I wonder if other brands might be more true to the advertised colors.

My granddaughter loves to paint and draw. I bought her this set for her Birthday. It was a very nice set. She loved it.
