Good bait box
Very pleased with my purchase, looks well worth the money, I am not sure the holes are too small for the size rat's we have, time will tell.

sturdy and made from recycled materials
I am very happy with these rat bait boxes they are well made and strong - they are also well designed.I bought these boxes to replace some very old boxes that are no longer secure. We are being plagued by rats that are becoming very bold and ( as I said) my old boxes can no longer be used,These boxes are a different design to my previous ones in that the bar that holds the bait blocks runs from front to back and is well secured making it imposable for anything to drag the bar (and therefore bait) out of the box. Bait that is not secure can be carried away long distances and it will kill indiscriminately. The entrance holes are opposite each other so daylight can be seen from both ends - a tried and trusted design that works. The lock works well but I feel that the key could be a little sturdier, and there is a built in dock on the side of the box to contain the key so no excuse for 'just putting it down and losing it'The box itself feels strong and well made - it is also 'guilt free' as it is made from recycled materials. The boxes are also very new and until they are properly weathered I do not expect to see any results as yet - but I can wait - it will happen. This is an update on my previous review - the boxes have done their job.I was shocked at the sheer number of very bold rats that had started to appear in my garden, they did not seem to be afraid of us, they did not run way with any speed when we shouted at them. They did however, disappear with the disappearing bait.'Touch wood' we now seem to be clear and the bait remains un-nibbled - what a relief. I think the rats had wintered well on the neighbouring farm in spite of their efforts.

Good product; good service
Bought on Prime; arrived next morning as advertised. Good instructions and offer of after service via follow up email. Good customer service. Operating key bit fiddly as observed by other users, but with patience succeeded. Loaded with block bait (purchased separately from local shop) & placed on the rat run weighed down by mighty pots & after a few days observed rats entering. Checked bait - again lock a little unwieldy, but doubtless makers would say child resistant....reloaded bait bar & replaced. Customers resumed consumption...I see the seller also stocks traps compatible with bait box - two for about the price of a box of bait blocks. Am minded to get them - one off cost, instant result..only downside for some would be disposal of ex rat...but I'm not squeamish..In short pleased with product & service - I would recommend seller/ product to anyone finding they have this problem.

Effective in reducing rodent activities
I recently purchased the ROSHIELD PRO BOX with 2 Extra Large compartments, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. The durable construction and spacious design make it perfect for managing pest control effectively. What's even better is how seamlessly it works with Roshield rat traps. Together, they form a formidable defense against rodents, ensuring a pest-free environment. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for reliable and efficient pest control solutions.

Great way to kill rats .....
My garden backs onto open land, I had several large rats last autumn and paid local council £35 for 3 visits to bait and remove them. A year on and rats have returned so I decided to manage the problem myself. I opted for poison boxes that looked almost identical to the ones used by the council. They seemed robust and I'm not disappointed. Clear instructions on how to bait the boxes and install rat traps and a useful picture of where to fix the various components. In addition to bait blocks, I decided to use highest strength available grain bait and it was easy to thread the unopened bags (recommended approach) onto the rod. Rats can be choosy about what they eat, so wanted to cover options. Have checked regularly since laying - blocks and most of the sachet contents were eaten in first few days. Topped up and pleased to see the rate of consumption has slowed dramatically so assume poison is taking effect. Not using traps as I didn't want to dispose of the rats myself. Keeping the poison contained in the boxes protects birds and other wildlife in my garden and so far I'm impressed. I expect other rats will come and I intend to keep using the boxes to eliminate them as much as possible. Handy tip - use disposable vinyl gloves when handling the bait.

Changed design
Seems to be well made but the description and instructions haven't been updated to match the redesigned product. The key is just a piece of plastic and there is no grain divider. Disappointing but shall keep the product anyway

Versatile & Easy to Use
These are a good design, captive locking mechanism (20° twist), multiple bait types (rod for blocks, walled compartment for loose) & has a through section next to the bait area. Overall, an improvement on the last ones I bought. Some tips:1. Remove all other sources of food in the vicinity (recycling bags with traces of food, bird seed, large fruit like apples, etc., including from trees).2. Smear bait blocks with a little smooth peanut butter before fitting to rods.3. Crush blocks & mix with finely chopped apple (two + weeks old) if the blocks aren't being taken.
