I have not worn a wristwatch for some years – relying like most people, on my phone for the time.But working a lot outside it became less practical to keep pulling out the phone so I decided to buy a watch. I chose the basic model of the range with no day or date display. I chose the green option.It arrived promptly in a logo’d presentation box within a logo’d sleeve – something to consider if you are buying this as a gift.The watch face is an attractive dark green with luminous hour and minute hands and a red second hand. The green webbing wristband is backed with a faux leather lining – I would have preferred just webbing – but I guess the lining adds strength.It fits well with ample adjustment to the band.The instructions are at pains to point out it is water resistant and not waterproof. This is not a problem for me. I would not swim with it – mainly because I can’t swim and if I fell in deep water while wearing it I would not be bothered with the precise time.In my opinion it is a great watch at a great price and overall I am very pleased with it.

Bought this for my partner who is very happy with the watch. Keeps good time, easy to read and is comfortable to wear. Looks very smart as well, can dress up or dress down...

I was looking for a no nonsence watch for fishing,its keeping perfect time,water resistant,illuminated dial.The strap is a little stiff but will ease with wear.nice green face.1st class for the price.

Had this for around two months now and it's been keeping good time. Looks smart.Overall quality is pretty good.I used to buy T***** watches, but now they work out 3 x the price of similar others, like this, there is no point. All of the digital components are made in Japan, probably in the same factory, so why pay three times more?Good watch. Nice strap. Buckle appears to be stainless steel, which is good: Nickel plated buckles can cause a skin rash so this is better!Infantry Watch gets my vote of approval.UPDATE: This watch has a Nickel winder button which is giving me a rash on my wrist! Looks like I shall have to buy another watch to replace it. Shame, as otherwise a good watch for the money!

Was looking for a new watch as the 275 pound job I had stopped working. This watch is nice and simple, light weight, looks cool and best of all keeps good time. Does exactly the same as my previous watch but at a very cheaper rate, good vale for money.

Contrary to a previous review, you do not need to wind this watch, it has a quartz movement and therefore will be battery powered. I have to say, I was caught out initially and thought it was broken when it arrived, but then discovered a small plastic tag on the crown which needs to be removed in order to engage the movement. I'd previously been through a string of budget watches and this is certainly best so far for the following reasons: it is slender and therefore comfortable to wear at night, it has luminous hands and dial, it has a robust nylon strap, keeps good time and it is cheap. The only minor negatives are that the strap has a tendency to stick to certain sleeve fabrics and the movement has a relatively loud tick, but otherwise an excellent product.
