When using materials that contain aggressive solvents the wooden handles on these are a better bet than the plastic handles on other budget brushes. These are fine for rough jobs such as laying fibreglass, but they wouldn't really be much use if you were trying to achieve a decent paint finish. Wish I'd gone for a 2 or 3 inch brush.

Excellent quality brushes - I find my self in need of disposable brushes very often and these ones I have find are very strong and the price to quality ratio is unbeatable. Additionally I am very happy with the wooden handles as I can either re-purpose them myself or at least I know they are easily recyclable unlike the brushes with plastic handles! Excellent!

Good value for pack of 12 brushes, would not use for painting but glue application would be fine. Brush head bristles may need trimming as irregular height and some of the side ones are curled. Disposable but will be trying to reuse to avoid waste.

Cheap throw away brushes for all those dirty and rough jobs where it doesn't matter if a few hairs are shed. Cuts out the mind numbingly boring task of cleaning brushes. Not for use where fine work and quality of finish are important. Horses for courses.
