Anyone put this on the side of a cargo trailer? Is it possible?

I mounted mine to the top edge of my cargo trailer so I didn't have to have custom brackets made, and to leave clearance for my doors. Almost bought a trailer roof rack to mount it to, but my roof is already way up there so i opted for the direct mount method. My roof is not a walk on, so I fit some plywood between the sheet metal and frame for support and for something to seal it to. Then I marked the location for my holes, drilled them and used the supplied u bolts to bolt the brackets to my roof framing. I sealed the brackets down with an rv sealant and covered them with wide flex seal tape and a few coats of spray flex seal to top it all off. The tensioning straps can be hooked together, or you can attach a mounting point on the opposite side of the trailer. The whole install took about 4 hours, but I was by myself and had to do most of it from a ladder since my trailer is extra tall. For my application I need a ladder to set up the awning but I can do it in about ten minutes. I love this thing! I'm sure there are many other ways to do it, you just gotta get creative.

Are the walls available?

Yes they are but I've only found them from the OVS distributor

Such a great idea. Now, people love hanging stuff from poles and put things on top of other stuff. How much weight can the fabric and arms carry?

I don’t know. I only hang minimal items, like clothes or towels from awning support.

Would this work on a high roof 144” wb sprinter, 2021 model year?

Yes and no. It should mount to just about any rack you have but the poles aren’t long enough. We’re developing longer poles now and will be available in a few months. Please refer to the OVS site for more updates.
