Good stuff for the most part
If you want 5.1, this won’t get you there. You can either have front sound bar with subwoofer or front sound bar with rear channels. But you won’t get 5.1, if you want to. However, if you pair this unit with a subwoofer, it really does rock and has super performance sound at high volumes. If you want 5.1 - I’m going to copy one of the other reviews below to describe how this happens. Still recommend this unit, but you have to know what you’re getting.I wanted to create the 5.1 surround sound home theatre experience. This process is a bit confusing with the Roku brand audio products.I have a 75” TCL brand Roku operating system equipped smart LCD TV. With any smart TV with the Roku operating system or an actual Roku Brand TV, the process is the same. These TV models can only support 2 WIRELESS bluetooth audio devices at once. (But the SoundBar Pro, which is not wireless, can support more, read to the end…).The Roku brand WIRELESS sound bar is 1 device, a pair of Roku wireless speakers is treated like 1 device (a second set, 4 total speakers, is also an additional 1 device) and any Roku wireless subwoofer is also 1 device. You can connect 1 WIRELESS sound bar (front channels) and 1 subwoofer, no rear channels.OrYou can connect 1 pair of wireless speakers (rear channels) and 1 WIRELESS sound bar (front channels), no subwoofer.OrYou can connect 1 pair of speakers (front channels) and 1 subwoofer. But I want 5.1 surround…If you want 5.1 surround like me, you’ll need to get the Roku Sound Bar Pro (not wireless), 2 sets (4 total speakers) of Roku wireless speakers, and one of the Roku wireless subwoofers (they have two; a standard 10” and a slim subwoofer thats a 5.25”).I have the slim version so it fits into my entertainment console and my room is appx 25’x40’ and its only on setting #3 and it rattles the room! With that configuration, all 6 speakers can be connected (Roku sound bar pro is the center channel, the 4 wireless speakers are your front left, front right, rear left, rear right, and the Roku wireless subwoofer is last. The Roku Sound Bar Pro is connected to the TV via HDMI-ARC, and acts like an A/V Receiver that all the other speakers connect directly to via BlueTooth; NOT directly to the TV itself. The sound quality is EXCELLENT and the setup process is SUPER simple, once you have the correct devices you want, based on the setup your trying to create, its a theatre sound level experience!Awesome sound quality, nice speakers, easy connections, very few wires, NO sound lag = AWESOME!All speakers have an individual power wire, so consider that when buying (my 5.1 surround setup (6 speakers) needs 6 wall outlets in different places). The Roku Sound Bar Pro is connected to the TV via 1 HDMI-ARCAll speakers come with their power wires. The Roku Sound Bar Pro also comes with an HDMI cable, a optical audio cable, and a new Roku voice remote and with remote sound via ear buds, included.I love Roku brand remotes; super simple to use, they have 2 main styles ( infrared and RF frequency) and as long as you match up the right one to your TV, they are very interchangeable and easy to pair.It really feels like Roku was trying hard to make great sound, for several customer space configurations, and a very easy setup with very few wires. They SUCCEEDED.Both the Roku WIRELESS sound bar and Roku sound bar pro sounded really great for just a sound bar only.Adding the other speaker elements I did, just raised the bar a notch higher with each speaker.Granted, Roku is a bit pricy when compared to other brands, but with the simplicity and ease of setup, plus their support…. Its a great value.

Amazing product
It is very loud if you should choose it to be the main reason I got it was because my Roku tv is wall mounted and the audio was just bouncing on the wall ultimately waking up my family due to The fact that I would have to put the tv very loud to be able to go over the ac I had on and reach me sounding good so when I bought this it came to my surprise that not only did it fix the redirection of where the sound went but it was in such good quality and loud it’s very easy to set it up with a Roku tv I can’t really speak for other tvs but it was easy for me with my Roku there’s no remote or anything for the speaker it self it works with your regular tv volume not 100%sure on how to disconnect it due to it being Bluetooth but I’m sure it’s just in the settings

Speech Clarity Setting- I can hear them speak!
Hearing aid people (or those who need one) listen up! This has a Speech Clarity setting that works great. I've always complained that background music or noise is louder than those speaking. This soundbar reverses that. Now I can hear what is being said. Just plug in the AC power cord. TV and Bar sync'd right up. (And I swear the picture looks better, but that may have been an update my TV needed.) Uses the same ROKU TV remote, but now I have to turn it down from where I used to set it a bunch because this is pretty loud. This is no "Theatre Experience" bar, the output wattage is pretty low. But for a bedroom soundbar it is perfect. It also has a Night setting that lowers the bass, so you might think they intended it for a bedroom. AAA+++

Great bang for your buck
Unbeatable for the price. If you're looking for something compact and don't want subwoofers scattered all around your room, this is the way to go for a Roku TV. Connection was a breeze. Turn on the TV, plug in the soundbar, push the home button for 5 seconds and it'll pretty much do the rest for you.

Save your Time and Money
This Roku soundbar is useless. Attached to a new Roku 55" TV which has poor quality sound to start out with. Rather than return the TV to Best Buy, I invested in this Roku soundbar which promises to: upgrade your entertainment with enhanced stereo sound, crisp, clear dialogue...automatically lower loud commercials, boost the volume of voices...Followed all instructions to connect with the TV-Very easy to follow the on screen instructions. After at least 10 seperate attempts the device would not connect so we called customer service. Was transferred to the higher level tech after spending about 50 minutes with the first tech who could not get it to work I spent another 20 minutes with the second tech who finally got me connected. This should have been an easy connect straight out of the box that should have taken 5 minutes at most. My wifi signal is very strong, so no issues there. Total time wasted was over 90 minutes! Proceeded to go back to the very same TV show I had so much poor voice clarity with. It had more bass, which I didn't care about. No improvement in the important issues "crisp, clear dialogue, lower loud commercials or boost the volume of voices. Very poor design when a product doesn't doesn't come close to delivering the promised performance.
