These are decent silicone molds for ice cubes, chocolate, or for other uses (like epoxy shapes). They are fairly small receptacles (about the size of a large finger) but they stretch the whole width of the unit. So, they are not ice "cubes" so much as ice "rectangles" (or suitable 3-d term).My only quibble with this item is that they unit is quite jiggly or wobbly or whatever you want to term it. It's floppy. So, when you fill it up, it's a little precarious when you try to put it into the freezer, espeically if you are trying to put it on a wire rack. So, you need to put it on the solid bottom of the freezer. So, maybe they are more for pastries and chocolate than ice, where the media is more viscous than water.They work well when stable; just be clear on their functionality and purpose.

I use these for egg roll/lumpia fillings. I put the filling in them and then freeze them for a bit. I then use those filling "sticks" in spring roll wrappers. Most spring roll wrappers (DON'T use the rice ones) come in packages of 25 or 30 and are usually in the freezer section of stores, so you'd need three of these. Most Asian grocery stores carry them. The frozen fillings release easily from the molds. The molds are easy to wash. I use them a lot and they are holding up well.
