Rock Solid Support!
I've purchased several different "Pad" holders for various uses, but this one is my favorite for the specific application I use it for. I use an input device by P.I. Engineering called XKeys. It's basically a programmable keypad that is both Mac and Windows compatible. This unit firmly holds the device in position beside my keyboard. Since it uses keys much like a conventional keyboard and the keys are pressed not just touched as in the case of a touch pad device, the stability is very useful. If you're looking for something very adjustable, this unit is not for you. It does swivel and tilt, but that is the extent of it's adjustability. I use other holders for my iPad(s). Just a note: It comes with two sets of "fingers" to hold different devices. I use the longer ones for the thicker XKey pad, but the shorter ones would work well for thinner pad/tablet devices. To avoid losing the unused fingers, I recommend installing the unused finger backwards, so they remain with the unit, should you decide to use it for another purpose where they would be needed. It also comes with a pack of tiny stoppers to keep the fingers from sliding out. Though not really needed, I installed them so they too wouldn't get lost should I decide to use the device for another purpose where they might be needed. Hope this helps in your decision making...

Very sturdy, but gooseneck is hard to move
Overall works , good quality , just wish there was a better mechanism to control the way to move the gooseneck , requires too much strength

Holds a tablet with ease
The media could not be loaded. This works perfectly with my Lowry stand. It holds a tablet very securely and adjusts well to almost any angle. Highly recommend!

Very durable
Was actually impressed with how durable it is. I use it to hold my my tablet next to my monitor, or it will hold my mixer board when I'm doing music stuff. If I had to be hyper critical and make a note I would say it could spin on its axis near the clamp, just one more level of articulation would increase ease of use quite a bit.

Very sturdy and holds tablet in place. No rattle at all while driving.

Fits ipad pro 12.9 without removing the case
This appears to be a well made product that fits an ipad pro 12.9 without removing the case. I am able to tighten it enough that the ipad does not move or droop from the weight. I am a little concerned that the plastic arms that hold the ipad in place will break over time as they seem to flex a bit with the pressure of putting the ipad in and out of the holder. I was hoping this device was convertable so I could remove the clamp and screw it directly onto a mic stand, but it is not made for that. Even the clamp threads are metric, so there is not an easy way to scre it on to a mic stand. If you happen to be a drummer, however, the 8mm threads do screw onto a cymbal stand, so you can either clamp this onto the side of a stand or screw it onto the end.I think the manufacturer should modify the design to include 3/8 inch standard or 5/8 27 threads under the arm, so you can use it with or without the clamp. Then I would give it 5 stars. As other reviews have pointed out, the ball joint has a limited range of motion, so you cannot clamp it to a vertical pole and set the ipad in a horizontal position.I modified mine for more flexibility by tapping a 3/8 hole for mic stand mounting. See pictures provided.

Great device which did not meet my needs.
This is a very functional well designed unit. Unfortunately it did not meet my needs due to incorrect specification. That being the product description stated it would fit a 10" device as my Graphics Tablet is, it did not. Upon checking with the manufacturer there was no work around; all that is needed is longer grip arms (the 4 appendages) which are not available. Bottom line perfect for listed iPhone devices not good for devices larger tablets

Does it’s job well!
Works well for holding a full size IPad onto a lecture, not too bulky. Plenty steady and clamp locks well and easily.
