Basically plug and play
This is a very easy to use wireless HDMI Transmitter & Receiver, basically plug and play without any configuration. There are some setting you can change once you start playing with it but basically get it out of the box and plug it, very straight forward. I didn't notice any signal degradation but what I can tell is that the range listed 165ft/50m is obviously with line of sight. It had issues when the signal was from corner to corner of the house going through several wall, which makes completely sense, I just want you to adjust your expectations to what the 165ft/50m range means.

Really quick and snappy, not exactly zero lag but close, great picture quality
Worked right out of the box and connected super quick. Zero complaints. This is the second EZCast product like this I've recently reviewed and have been pretty impressed by both of them. This one did transfer a 4k30 signal from my camera to a field monitor, and it looked great. There is a slight latency but it's less than a quarter of a second and the signal looked clean and great. I wouldn't play any games off of this that requires fast reaction such as NES tetris, but I can see something like Final Fantasy Tactics or Doki Doki Literature club being played off this. When the unit does first connect it looks like there is some sort of decompression happening as there's stuttering and slight lag but after that initial first connection then the signal has been great up to 100' feet away in the testing area. They do get warm to the touch after extended use. Sadly they don't come with any sort of bag or adapters to change to micro or mini hdmi, which means for some cameras such as Canon you will need to have your own convertors.I did wish these units came in black as I plan on using them for live stream setups paired with black video equipment and these stick out.Overall of all the cheaper wireless hdmi solutions I've used, these have consistently been the best performance wise. If they gave you a little bag, some converters, and just made them in black these would be a big favorite and budget solution to something like a Hollyland Mars system or something more expensive. Being that these need a a pair to work a bag or case would do wonders to keep this together, while adapters would make the system more functional for multiple camera systems.

Long range
These transmitters have a long range they provide good 1080 P resolution from my computer to the TV display that I use in a classroom.

It works, but...
Over all this does do what it says most of the time. It can get extremely finicky when connecting to a new tv, monitor, or other kinds of displays. Once it is set up and working it can start to get jittery if the "channel" it is on gets too much interference. Most of the time it will automatically jump to a new channel before it gets to bad. Other than those kinds of issues it otherwise handles 4k at 60fps rather nicely.I'm just not going to ever hook up any of may gaming consoles to this because of the intermittent channel jumping.
