Boynton's Greatest Hits The Big Green Box (Boxed Set): Happy Hippo, Angry Duck; But Not the Armadillo; Dinosaur Dance!; Are You A Cow?

As a new-ish father, I have gotten the opportunity to read many-a-book to me littles. At times, I am surprised at what passes for kids books. I am putting a little thought into writing my own books. If anyone can do it...BUT, I have found Boynton's children's books to be pleasurable to read. They are well illustrated and on the heavy stock as they should so the kiddos don't tear them up too quickly. The writing is sing-songy and of the correct length. I mean - They are kids' books - not rocket surgery. But somehow, others fall short.

Boynton writes such fun books with great illustration that the adults love reading to the little ones and the little ones stay interested to see what happens next. This set is the wonderful hard cardboard format so my nephew can turn the pages himself and the book survives the experience.

Our granddaughter is now about 20 months old. She loves to flip through these little books with her mom. We get her a couple new ones each month.

A boxed set of Sandra Boyton’s board books is a perfect gift for babies/kids of any age. They are very fun to read and the kids love them. Great quality board books!

I bought two sets of these books for my four year old grandson for when he comes to visit. He loves them. They have become his favorite books. The pictures are great and help him to recognize certain words easily. Fantastic for preschool age to begin their reading journey. They're also quick reads, so he doesn't lose interest before we make it through the book.

This is a great box set of Boynton’s books. Depending on the price it is a better purchase than buying the books individually. All of these books have been a hit, especially the Dinosaur Dance for my little Dinosaur fan. Are you a cow is great at helping with 4 word utterances and question, answer. Happy Hippo, Angry Duck is a cute book about moods. We’ll express faces or actions of the mood on the page, talk and laugh about it. I thought the Armadillo book was a little different than the rest, odd. My son enjoys that book though and has gotten value out of it. He points out other things on the pages or plays off the words and pictures in not just tbis book but other ones from the box sets.

I love the books by Sandra boynton. They’re so playful, fun, and silly. What a way to make reading fun for young kids and adults alike. I highly recommend these. The board books are great too for hound kids.

This is exactly what you would expect from Boynton. A great gift for any child four years or younger.
