More delicious than Ripple Coffee. Happy I tried it out, now I'm stuck.

I am very happy with the taste of this protein drink. It is one of two brands that I buy.

I love these vegan protein shakes, especially Cafe Mocha and double Chocolate. To me, they're not overly thick or chalky. I took one star off for the high price. They use to be closer to $20 for a case of 12, but now the price seems consistently at $30++.

I’m in the middle of a project that is causing a lot of juggling to my meals schedule. I love chocolate and coffee which is partly how I came to pick this flavor. I bought this item for an experiment. The idea was to figure out what I could take on a two day road trip that isn’t chips, cereal bars, nuts, raisins, crackers, or M&M’s. Since I have to travel economy I have to keep my expenses low.I knew about meal replacement shakes years ago after having had some dental work done and they were suggested by my dentist. I didn’t want to buy that brand because I didn’t really like them. So I started looking around for another one. Along with the nutritional information I compared such info as calories, sodium, and what were the sweeteners. The thing that sold me on this one is the sodium. Some brands of shakes have much to much sodium. Even some of the flavors in this brand are to high for me. This flavor has the lowest sodium. There is a flavor that is supposed to taste a lot more like chocolate, but after I saw what the sodium count is I said “nope”.I wasn’t successful in finding this item in my local area. The only thing I found really disappointing in this selection is, I wish it taste more like coffee. And it could have a bit more chocolate too. But I think as long as my project is in progress I will continue with this selection and flavor. I drink mine with a serving of Almonds. I have two or three through out the day. Then later, when it’s calmer, I have a hefty and hopefully, nutritional dinner. Another thing that I find appealing is the price. Some of the other nutritional drinks are very pricy. I just have to be careful about keeping enough between shipments.I haven’t had any noticeable side affects. These are thin. So if thickness is wanted, pick a different brand. These are not sugary. So if a sweeter taste is wanted, pick a different brand. Unfortunately, after some considerable thought, my experiment failed. This item is to bulky. But it was worth the experiment to keep up my energy until I my project is over.

It pains me to write this because I *want* to like this product so badly. I just can't. Most people who buy R2D shakes know Evolve is on the higher end as far as cost & quality, so I was delighted to stockpile this product on a lightning sale. The ingredients are great & I like the company.Unfortunately, the palate cannot lie & these products taste & feel pretty terrible. They are so thick that they aren't quite a liquid. I already take all of my nutritional drinks watered down with about half dairy or nut milk, but the Evolve drinks didn't want to be shaken up or pour out of their cartons & mingle with other beverages. I appreciate the amount of pea protein powder the drinks must contain to be so heavy, but ultimately, there is too much solid to liquid in their ratio & the precipate sits stubbornly at the bottom. Even when I immersion blended the Evolve drinks with plain milks, they still just didn't sit well in my stomach. I am still slowly trying to finish them off, but it's a hard task when you just don't like something. (I also bought this product in Vanilla Bean, which is equally underwhelming.) These were on sale & I thought I was getting a deal, but instead I learned a lesson. Indeed, the grass isn't always greener.If you're looking for a better tasting & actually drinkable coffee flavored R2D meal replacement, try Atkins Iced Coffee Café Protein Shake in mocha latté or café au lait.

Totally AWFUL…watery and overly sweet …we bought this because our regular protein drink wasn’t available (Ripple Protein Coffee flavor) …a real disappointment

I love the Mocha flavor.. I caught them on sell for $22! I bought 6 cases! They help if you want to maintain or gain healthy weight..or if you are on the go! Will order many again when they on sell again!
